Jimmy is crying because he's always the first one out of The Life Series lmaooooo. It's a curse, and double life is only following tradition. Double Life is so funny and is filled with the best cases of comedic irony and unintentional foreshadowing.

Tango’s seen everyone brush of his deaths like they’re nothing. In every world, he’s been a casualty. So he expects Jimmy to leave. But Jimmy, who’s been the joke of the world since the very first game, who’s time is always too short, doesn’t go. He asks Tango if they can stay for a few more minutes, in hopes that the bond they’ve formed over these 5 sessions can last a little longer. And Tango, smiling, obliges. The two wait in silence, abandoned by the world but not alone. The smell of burning wood mixes with the syrupy sweetness of the pancakes Tango is holding and gives the two Ranchers hope that in the next life they’ll find each other.

Just watched Chrisrin's animatic on it, and apparently it's a reference to Ferris Bueller which is a comedy/romance film from 1986. So yes, the community *did* take something relatively joking and made it angsty xD (and I'm glad for it).

hey um can i get context please (i dont watch double life but i like the animations people make)
so the double life series is a hardcore minecraft series that uses a three life system. each player have three lives, and if they “go red” and loose their third and last life, they’re out of the game. in double life, the twist is that the players are teamed up or “soulbounded” to another player. they share healthbars, lives and damage. so if one player out of the two die, the other die as well.
the two characters featured in this animatic are tango and jimmy (rancher duo as some of the fandom call them), and they were the first to permanently die and are officially off the game. which means their povs of the series ended. Jimmy (the one sitting down) has a track record of always dying first in the game, and because he is soulmates with Tango, Tango ends up dying first as well.
the dialogue and the pancakes are a reference to the last 10 minutes of Tango’s last episode, where it is nothing but a black screen and some words pop up telling his audience that it’s over. the black screen was done purposefully so that there were no spoilers for the viewers, and i just took those words out and made the whole thing angsty lol.

Can someone please help me. I've been looking for half and hour but I can't figure out where the pancakes come from. A lot of people mentioned it in the comment section of the last double life and now here again. I'm so confused.
