This season really was Pearls with her storyline of betrayl and abandonment and how she (didn‘t) cope with it. To then make it to the end and have Scott sacrifice himself for her. A really deserved win, although I would also have liked a Happy End with her and Scott

Kinda poetic that Cleo’s last word right before she died was calling out for her soulmate that abandoned her at the beginning of the season
He didn't abandon her, he and Pearl just didn't encounter those two
That technically applies to Pearl too.
It was Scott and Cleo who decided to not be with Pearl and martyn.
The reasoning was that Pearl and martyn didn’t go out to look for them and instead went and did dangerous stuff together, like going to the nether.
Scott and Cleo read the writing on the wall and knew those two would be more trouble than they’re worth and decided to be together instead.
After Cleo left him, Martyn took it out on Pearl, despite the nether trip being his idea, and left her as well. Spending his time trying to win back Cleo.

It just gets me every time that *Grian* was the one that ended their series. Sure, Scar died twice in quick succession, but only the zombie one was reasonably Scar's fault (for digging straight down over a zombie pit). Nobody expects a skulk sensor TNT trap that is also voice-activated.

since episode 1 I knew that Pearl owned this season. her entire perspective was an actual movie from Scott leaving her, becoming unhinged, losing Tilly, basically becoming a witch, creating the G team, 2v1ing TWICE, Scott and Pearl’s last words to each other, and of course PEARL WINNING 🥇 it was well deserved gg!

@@davitharutyunyan875 basically, pearl was abandoned by scott in the first episode and its heavily implied that pearl's ''corruption arc'' was heavily powered by people leaving her (scott, martyn, cleo etc) and you will notice that in pearl's pov, she gets abandoned a lot
my take on the ''perhaps i forgive you afterall'' is that pearl herself wasnt actually mad at scott but her rage was being powered by her ''red'' (corruption)
after her death, the red technically no longer has control over her thus she was able to see more clearly scott's reasoning, but thats just my take on it, it hasnt been confirmed by anyone

Pearl really popped off this season. Her whole storyline of becoming crazy scarlet pearl dog lady and then 2v1ing TWICE in the final episode.

I only just noticed that Bdubs accidentally hit Impulse while they were fighting Pearl. Wow.
Yeah Impulse walked straight next to Pearl to attack her and kinda pushed her enough that Bdubs' swing missed her and hit him instead :D
Probably a deciding factor in that fight.

Pearl got EXTREMELY lucky there. Right before BDubs died, he accidently hit Impulse, knocking both their HP down to let Pearl get the kill, and then Martyn accidently damaged himself and Cleo with that rocket in the cave which made fall damage kill 'em.

Etho was panicking, u can tell if u watch his perspective (or even Joel’s perspective)
Fun fact: Joel and Etho think that their portal got trapped and that they got betrayed, but actually BigB and Impulse calling them back was because they were actually getting attacked and Joel and Etho’s portal got linked with one that had been previously covered in lava not even intended for them
impulse warned them multiple times that the other portal was trapped (which was on both of them for not listening), and suggested only one person go in the nether (which was on etho). if etho hadn’t entered as well just to see how joel might die, they woulda had a chance and not died twice as fast to lava lol
how was this either of them’s fault, they were both stuck
I think joel should have yelled that the portal is trapped so etho wouldnt come in too cas together they take more damage dying faster

Pearl’s story this season was so sad. She was abandoned and all she wanted was to be with Scott and the fact that Scott sacrificed himself for pearl got me crying. 😭
Honestly if pearl ever joins empires (which she probably wont :( )again It would be so cool to have her character unhinged and just a killer who lurks the forest at night

At the end, when you're subtitling Pearl as *inaudible* she clearly says "You Know I did."
But this was a really nice thing to see. Double Life didn't pull me in as much as the previous 2 seasons did

When Scott said „Tilly death do us part” it somehow sounded like oath…as if he took the pain of Pearl’s lonelyness in this season and took it with him to the grave in order to let Pearl win without duel with her own ‚soulmate’ …

Specifically Pearl's POV, as I see in the comments. Most of this video was a surprise and each scene with Pearl made me feel like I was actually watching a show. The tone in her voice when she delivers impactful lines.... Wow. I actually got emotional despite only having the context of Grian's videos. Just... Wow.

I’m really excited for the next life series, these are always so much fun and always have great twists and turns
the whole scott/cleo/martyn/pearl storyline of double life was FANTASTIC, it was like watching an actual soap opera unfold. i watched scott and cleo first and then i watched martyn and then i watched pearl and it was literally insane seeing all the different perspectives of how it played out 10/10
And everyone thought scar would be the one got both of them out of the game.

Last life had the most drama and was great to watch, but double life had the best deaths.
