Ceris Beech I don’t know if it’s supposed to be a parody or even supposed to be a Christian movie. But it’s based off a chick tract which is a Christian pamphlet. Very heavy Christian message, though it might be more making fun of it? Not sure. However it’s hilariously bad...I think it would be entertaining to see Kevin review it.
Oh there's no question he should review it. Summoning Cthulhu is one of the best parts of the movie.

I think seeing Christianity confuse itself is always hilarious. I was surprised when folks started speaking Latin; is it American Evangelical Christianity or Catholicism that's more legit? If both are, why did you have to start using Latin at all? If demons and such really are that powerful, why is Satan so easily defeated? Why would Satan need to appear in literal form if his power lies in the world believing he doesn't exist?
Aside from that: really, guys? Rock and Roll is Bad? Your moral panic is like 40 years too late and this is still the well you're going to? Tattoos and growly music and bars are symbolic of sin? Doesn't Skillet do that same stuff to save souls? (Among others?)

Thanks. This was a refreshing movie to review. The big releases seem to come with a lot of pressure to explain why it’s bad. These ones I get to just have fun with.
I think that because of you and others like you, the big releases are becoming more aware of what they are and are intentionally trying to change their old image. That's why God's Not Dead 3 actually had some substance. They really want to improve it seems. And that's cool, but it makes the criticisms and jokes a little harder to come by. But boy are these smaller productions something. Thanks for reviewing them!
