This is THE best doll hair tutorial on YT. Ive literally spent most of today trying to find one. But all are overly complicated or just include too much boring footage. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making and sharing this video ❤
I am so happy it helped you!
I came looking for a hair tutorial for the very reason you showed the second method. Thank you so much for sharing this, it was really helpful and gave me exactly what I needed!
So glad it helped!
Ooooooo this is by FAR my favorite way and tutorial to do hair! It’s literally the easiest and secure way. Thank you so much 💛✨
I'm so happy ot helped!
Thank you so much this is much easier that making a wig cap or something else like that!
So happy it helps!
Thank you so much for sharing this idea I was actually working on a Coraline doll my mom gave me cuz she didn't know how to get the middle part to work. So I was sitting like going through videos and I found yours and I was like this is awesome it really does look like she's growing the hair so I'm just running around one right now. I'll probably post another comment when I'm finished might even try to take a picture but I felt like this is going to be the best way to truly get a middle part that looks right you know. Thank you!
I'm so glad it helped you!
She is adorable, thank you for the tip of the hairs,i was myself bussy crocheting a doll and got stucked (again) on the hairs, most of time imazy to look up a videoof tips and tricks but i did it and there was ur video thank u so much, i used to do the first way of making the hairs but with the second way..the result is soo much better and cleaner❤

So happy that it helps you!
It is sooo cute and the way you talk is super duper cuteeee
Awww thanks so much!
In macrame, the first knot would be a larks head knot- same principle. Its sometimes also referred to as Cows Hitch. Its a common knot for attaching rope or in this case Yarn- to an anchor point. The second therefore would be a ‘running’ or modified larks head.
In Latch Hook rugs this knot maybe called a Smyrna knot. - id just call it a larks head but thats me. 👍
And thanks for posting by the way- it helped me a lot
Thanks so much! I learn through foreign language TH-cam videos and have no idea what the name of the stitches are!
@@kerynwolff4838 I’m so glad it helped! Thanks
This is so helpful! Thanks!
So glad it helps!
Love it I am making witches and this will help so much thank you
Ooo I love making witches! Glad I can help!
I run a mini flat iron over hair on my crochet dolls and amigurumi before clipping it. 👍🏽
That is a great idea!
Love the doll too,!
Thanks so much Rose! I enjoyed making her!
this is way easier then what I was doing.
I'm so glad it is helping!
Your traditional technique in hair stranding is called hook-n-lash and a good name for your new technique would be weave-n-lash hair stranding. Nice video presentation.
Thank you so much! I learned by watching foreign videos where I don't understand the language and so I didn't understand what they were saying! I had no idea what the names are.
Thanks for teaching us how to make the hair for the doll. 😂
Thanks so much! I hope it helps!
Thank you for the tutorial, it really help me

@@InayasToyboxCrochet It did. I used it to modify / change the hair from an amigurumi. I wish I could send you a pic.
@@rosaberrios9238 I would love to see it! Tag me @inayastoybox on Instagram if you have it.
I'm sorry but I'm new to crochet and I wonder if you could show more of the not knot method for longer as I couldn't quite make out what you were doing 🤔 sorry to be a pain 😐 😊
Thanks for the suggestion. I will do it, but please be patient with me. I am a working mom and don't have as much time for tutorials as I once did (i wasn't working when I filmed this)
Great video and showing us both methods you use. However alot of it is off camera.
Thanks so much Angie. Yeah i know. It is super hard to made a video like this type of video especially since you can’t see what is being recorded. I have been working on getting a tripod that will work better for tutorials. Hopefully I could figure it out.
She's beautiful. What's the name of the yarn you used?
Thanks so much. The doll is made entirely of Hobbii 8/4 rainbow, and the hair was Kartupu Krystal
@@InayasToyboxCrochet Thank you❤
Do you have a tutorial for this doll Base, it's the perfect base
Thanks so much! Unfortunately I do not have a tutorial, but I do have a written pattern. In my Ravelry there is the pattern for this exact doll, and also a goth fairy that uses the same doll base. The link is in the description.
Thaky you for this tutorial
So happy it helped you!
Awesome 🥰
Thanks Denise! Hope it was helpful
Do you have a tutorial how to make that doll she’s beautiful
Thanks so much! I don’t have a video tutorial, but I do have a pattern in my Ravelry store. The link is in the description
How did you do the face??
Hi Phyllis. I do have a video on how to embroider eyes. Here is the link. I hope you find it helpful. th-cam.com/video/QCIvmjg1uWc/w-d-xo.html
Yo tengo se se mismo lunar en la mano 😊
Lol! How likely is that?
What yarn are you using for the hair
This particular yarn is Krystal yarn from Hobium but you can use any yarn you want to.
Hair is so very tedious. Looks great.
Thanks! It really is tedious! Lol I started crocheting the hair for my dolls.
I saw on P intrest but you do better
Thanks so much Sheila!
