Usually when people customize dolls like this, they brush the yarn smooth before they sew it to the head so they don't waste so much. Not sure why she brushed it out after it was on the doll

The yarn looked like cute long Senegalese twist the first time That was cute alone. Also when she combed the yarn out before flat ironing it was also cute Looked like black girl hair 😍 But the flat ironed look alone with the haircut was pretty also That was like 3 different hairstyles before getting to the final one
I agree, I liked the Senegalese twist. What I will do with my daughter's dolls is either leave as the Senegalese twist, or brush the yarn out and then style into two bunches with afro puffs, or just one big afro. Nice that this video inspired us.

I wish I had known about this before I tossed Malibu Barbie after I used a blow dryer up really close to her hair after she had a bath in the bathroom sink! Her hair turned into a huge blonde blob.
