Hi new subscriber here. I like what you’ve done with it, I’m thinking of buy my first Model Y this Christmas and this is the look I want. Great job! 👏🏽
Hi, I'm curious if you have any updates on the front lip and if it is holding on without any issues after a few months of driving. I'm looking to install mines soon. Mines didn't come with a double sided tape. So I bought some 3M tapes off of Amazon. Did you have to drill more holes than what was pre-drilled? Great video!! Thanks!!
I don't recall. But you do have to drill into some plastic underneath. You know where after you hold it up. If it was the bumper, I remember it being so underneath that you wouldn't see the holes even if you removed it....hope that helps. -Todd
Hi Bob, My ultimate choice would have been to go with the same color as the car (Midnight Grey), but that wasn't an option. I thought the carbon-fiber, with the black and grey carbon weaves, would appear close to the color of the car. I'm sure any of those colors would have looked great.
@@twHomeShow Todd have you loss any fuel economy as I do a lot of highway driving? I have a White S and thought the white and black would blend better versus Gloss black ? One thing is for sure yours really looks sharp./

When I purchased my 2016 S used four years ago. Someone had turned off the warning chimes that go off when you are too close to a object and it ripped off the fascia below the front plastic bumper area when the car went over a concrete parking berm. It cost me 5,000 dollars to repair. And this guy wants you to lower the front end even more guaranteeing you the same result instantly if you dont watch closely and react instantaneously. Air shocks should help but who knows. And the same result could happen if you go over railroad tracks or hit a pothole. So why on Gods earth would you want to do this. Just my two cents No flames please. It was a real pain getting this fixed too. Few body shops do Tesla and there was none close to me that I would trust.
These kill you range on the highway. They look cool tho. Just took mine off after loosing 20% range. Better versions that come off the lower lip are better for range.
@@iamakinupe9215 don’t they all mount to the bottom? I was looking at rpm telsas version and it looks similar. Do you know a company that makes a good one that you can recommend
Going to install tomorrow, it’s midnight and I couldn’t stop thinking about my front lip , thanks to you I now can get it Done a lot faster 🙏
Glad I could help. -Todd

It's holding up great. No issues. I just applied screws in the holes they already had.
“ Wife’s Tesla “ …don’t keep forgetting Todd 😂😂
Thanks Todd.
Thanks Ron. Glad you liked the video 😁 -Todd
Great job how has it been with ground clearance ??
Thank you. There has been no issues with ground clearance.
Thanks Much
Awesome Vid! Did you drill it into the bumper or the black plastic rea underneath it?

Todd I am curious what made you go with the carbon look over gloss or flat black ?? Thanks Much

Did you have to screw into the non black part of the bumper? The part where it is painted?
How did you turn on the garage lights without prompting a trigger phrase to start listening? What tool?
I think you need to become a SUBSCRIBER....LOL
Do you notice less mpc on the highway?
Where can one buy these side skirts? A link would be appreciated.

what the update after driving it to freeway?.
how does it hold up in higher speeds?
Sure have a neat garage 😀.
Best to use Nuts and bolts, those screws do not hold..Happen to me and many others., need to bolt it down from inside
Great Mod. Did you use the original holes or did you drill new ones to install the lip? Thanks
Thanks. You have to make new , additional holes with the screws provided.
@@twHomeShow i'm assuming you need to go slow and drill pilot holes? Whats the safest way to drill in without messing up the bumper?
Niceeee
Thanks!

Better versions that come off the lower lip are better for range? what does this mean?
@@Thunderthigheli it means that a better version is the ones that come off the bottom for the front lip/bumper.

The ones with the double lip seems to have an effect on range. At least in my case
Not sure where you got that information from.. My MYLR has been the exact same before and after installing the lower lip.. 8 months in..
