  • Recipe: adventuresineve... a quick and easy dessert to throw in your air fryer at a moments notice? Try this air fryer Berry Crisp! It's so easy and incredibly delicious! When you serve it to your guests, they will have no idea at just how easy it was to throw together. This recipe is so versatile that you can use any berry, apple, or even peach pie filling and it'll be a homerun!!
    Air Fryer Berry Crisp
    Ingredients:
1 can berry pie filling (raspberry, cherry, blueberry, apple, etc)
½ cup sugar (white or brown or combo)
¼ cup flour (oat flour is amazing in this-my preferred flour)
    ¼ cup butter
    1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon
    Pinch of salt
    ¼ cup oats
    Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 370°F.
Pour the can of pie filling into the bottom of an oven safe pan that fits in your air fryer.
Cut together your sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and cold butter until you have a crumble.
I use my food processor to make my crumble because it does it so well.
Add in the oats and mix well. Taste and add more cinnamon if needed.
Top your pie filling with your crisp.
Air fry at 370°F for 12-15 minutes or until the crisp is browned around the edges.

Just made this! With lots of substitutes to make it lower in carbs. Used almond flour and artificial sweetener in the topping. Made my own filling with blueberries, arrowroot powder and artificial sweetener. You didn't say how many it serves, but I figure 2, so 7 net carbs per serving. Took about 11 minutes to cook in PC air fryer. I'll let you know later how it tastes and if the hubby approves.

Update: the topping was fabulous, but my homemade filling didn't have enough sweetener and was a little grainy. Should have boiled it first, then let it cool.

Also, just got a food processor, so a learning curve there. But it was easy!

The written recipe says 1/2 cup of sugar but you said 1 cup. Just double checking to see which is correct... or if both work depending on how sweet you want it. Looks great! Thanks

When we were editing the video I noticed I said the wrong thing. I just can't read my own handwriting ;)

This looks so good and simple. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to try this.... just one question, I have the Pampered Chef Air fryer as well, but I didn't know we need to preheat it. Do you have a video regarding preheating and when to do it? If not, would you please do one..... thank you from southern Calif.....

That is a great question and that is something I should address. I'm working on a new unboxing video and some air fryer TIPS for the PC users. I'll include that!

Looks very yummy. I use my air fryer for small items/portions because it is quicker and heats a smaller cooking area. Could I add nuts to the crunchy topping?

Here in England we call it crumble not streusel and I cheat by buying it ready prepared
