I have 3 air fryers of different sizes. Just love what you can do with these units. I cook my Salmon at 400 deg.'s for about 6 to 8 minutes. The one thing different is I spray olive oil over the Salmon then coat it with Mrs. Dash salt-free original seasoning blend. I use a bunch and it builds such a great crust and the inside is really moist. Love your show...
this shows 6, 8, and 10 minutes. I like the 370F and I try to cook until the internal temp is 145F. Then it is moist and flakey...not sure about just based on time. Does that sound right to you?
You are full of crap. Cook it at 400 and you get a fish that is drier than Death Valley. Moderate it at about 370 otherwise you dont know what the hell you are doing
@@tperk It all depends on which air fryer you have. 370 is not high enough on mine and the factory presets do show 400 for salmon. And mins is not enough for a salmon this size. It's closer to 10min with unit.
Just wanna say I am the opposite of a cook but finding this channel has dramatically improved my ability to make some good dishes. 50% air fryer 50% your channel!
I learned something from you today and thank you for sharing your knowledge of Air Fryer cooking techniques. Your video is exceptionally well presented and informative, with your verbal presentation skills nicely complementing that of your food presentation. As a professional speech writer, I much admire your body language and overall enthusiasm. For future reference, the correct wording is "for my family and me", not "for my family and I".
This recipe is fantastic. Great taste. Came out perfect. I had supper with salmon asparagus and quinoa. All was ready in less 25 minutes prep time included in the time.
Nice recipe ! Thank you, all your air fryer recipes are always very good, and you do an excellent job of providing clear instructions. I also add a seasoning called "Fishmonger" that adds a bit of kick to it. Yes the paprika is key to this recipe.
Great recipe! I added slices of lemon on the bottom of salmon. This way the lemon juices are absorbed and it doesn’t effect the crispy top. Thanks again for your awesome videos.
One thing about salmon. Make sure its wild and not farm raised. Of its farm raise it's bad for you because of the stuff they feed it to make it grow. So. Just to let you know. Others are talking about this. Hoping you do Cod next time. Please. We did your wings. They turned out great. Thank you
Is it suggested that we pre-heat the oven? I have a standard (large) size Samsun oven with an air fry feature. I could conceivably air fry a turkey. Given the size of the oven, shouldn't I pre-heat?
Great looking salmon! My only criticism is that when seasoning with salt and pepper, you should drop it from about 10" above what you are seasoning so that you get a nice, even coverage. Never do it from so close in as you will get sections with almost no seasoning and other areas with too much. Other than that, this is a great, easy way to cook salmon. 👍
My dad bought an airfyer Philip the brand of it and ots temperature goes to 210 •c normally and I try it with 6 -8 minute to make the fish even crispier
Hi- this just depends how big the piece is. Air fryers aren’t huge so if the salmon pieces are big you might have to cook them one at a time. Hope this helps!
Quick question my air fryer has the fish option could I just pick that option or would it be better making it by temp and minutes ? Thanks again awesome looking salmon
Justin I agree cooking in the airfryer much better cause the salmon skin I usually try to cook always stuck to the pan it so frustrating and I get broken pieces on the fish
Hi- I don’t. I have never felt that preheating does anything. The air fryer is such a small oven with a big convection fan, so it heats up very quickly.
Excellent job Coit! I'm a new subscriber to your channel and look forward to your suggestive recipes. We eat a lot of salmon and we prepare it on our Ninja Grille which does come equipped with an air fryer. So, it goes without saying, that we will be soon trying your demonstrated salmon recipe.
aw thanks so much Aaila! I really appreciate your support. Lots more great recipe videos coming soon. Let me know if you have any requests! Have a great day.
I particularly liked the part where he said "Let me show you how I plate it up" and it was amazing... he put it on a plate... gosh, that's a clever way of plating it...
@@cookingwithcoit I actually tried it with the store bought already poached salmon and it tasted amazing and crispy and still really soft on the inside. I loved it thank you :)
Hi the salmon looks real yummy but I have some problem with the air fryer part as mine is only up to 200°:/ any idea on how I can still make it happen?
@@cookingwithcoit I was thinking more along the lines of a lot less. A tsp seems like an awful amount of salt for such a small piece. That would ruin it for me.
That looks good! You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Doing the airfryer way!! Yummy, yum! Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!🥘🍲🌭🌮🍕🍟🍿🥗🦐🍝🍠☕🗽🚑🚒🚓

Justin, I used this recipe for salmon this evening and it came out perfect!! Thanks for a great job and presentation!
Always a great air fryer recipes. Please make a video on how to cook frozen fish in air fryer. Thanks
My family & I are new to air fryers. Thank you so much for showing us about salmon! 😊

I am not much of a salmon eater but really trying and made this tonight and it was really good! thx
That’s so great to hear! Thanks for letting me know 😀
Excellent! So delicious! But can you tell me, did you remove the skin, and if so, how did you do that?
That was simple ingredients and quick work, thank you.

Great call Brad!
I’m going to try this. I’ve never really cooked fish in my air fryer, so I’ll be interested to see the result.
Wanted to make salmon in my air fryer and your video was right on time.
Thank for sharing.

Proof that the best and tastiest recipes are often also the simple and uncomplicated ones. This was delicious and almost too easy.
Thank you so much 😊
I wanted to know if the skin was crispy? I am doing this for the first time tonight, I usually grill salmon but this looks so easy.
Would you preheat the fryer before cooking the salmon?
Hi- I never do and it always comes out good.
I have a Breville Smart Oven w/convection. I also have a Corsori like in your video, still in the box. Do I really need the Cosori?
Can you cook salmon in an air fryer from frozen? Still add spices while frozen?
It sure looks delicious. I will try this simple easy recipe. Thanks.

Yup! Enjoy!
This looks great. But, can I use my Costco frozen salmon filets? thank you

Straight cooked tf out of it. Amazing! Air fryer does wonders
Isnt it amazing! I love my air fryer.
Excellent recipe , simple and delicious.
I did it for diner the flavor is unique .
Thanks for sharing your recipe .
Do you take the skin off before cooking? I left mine on but was just wondering ...
I’m new to air frying, so NO preheat with the salmon?
Wild caught ONLY
PAT DRY... cover with Dijon mustard
Garlic powder....... Paprika.... Salt and pepper to taste
Looks beautiful! I don’t have an air fryer (yet) but I wonder: can I put more than one piece in at a time? We have a large family.
Hi- this just depends how big the piece is. Air fryers aren’t huge so if the salmon pieces are big you might have to cook them one at a time. Hope this helps!
Made this today and it came out great! Definitely doing this more often
So great to hear
hi can i substitute paprika with chillies powder?
Quick question my air fryer has the fish option could I just pick that option or would it be better making it by temp and minutes ? Thanks again awesome looking salmon
Made your salmon. Come out great. Had lots of fun.
I like using canola with lemon pepper spice on fish myself
350° 6 to 8 minutos depending on the salmon size, center it or make sure the salmon has space around it... got it TY
Can I use regular paprika instead of smoked?
Yup, you can 👍🏻
Very exciting cooking on air fryer

Big ❤️ from sanja's fantasy kitchen. Great recipe
Do you preheat the air fryer?
Hi- I don’t. I have never felt that preheating does anything. The air fryer is such a small oven with a big convection fan, so it heats up very quickly.
The air fryer is perfect for salmon. I also add brown sugar, thyme and garlic powder for extra crispiness.
Hi, thanks for the awesome , Kindky provide a trout recipe
Awesome will try this
Will this recipe good for sockeye salmon ? Thanks.
Yes it will work for sockeye as well

Well done,greatly appreciated!
Did you wash the salmon first?
Yes I did, off camera. But make sure you pat it as dry as possible! Water is the enemy of a crispy exterior!
Thanks for share your recipe 🥰😌
good info.. thank you..

Can you please do beef steaks in air fryer?
What's the difference between ordinary paprika and "smoked" paprika?
Thank You

How do you get the skin to not get stuck on the air fryer?
Delicious thank you 👍🏻
You are very welcome! Glad you like the recipe!
This is great, thank you

will this work on already cooked salmon?
Possibly but you might risk overcooking it quite a bit, unless it was undercooked to start with.
@@cookingwithcoit I actually tried it with the store bought already poached salmon and it tasted amazing and crispy and still really soft on the inside. I loved it thank you :)
Can you cook from frozen or defrost 1st?
Hi- I would defrost first.
I think it needs to be flipped half way, and also if it has skin it's going to need a few more minutes
New favorite salmon recipe! Thank you for sharing!
So glad to hear that!
How don you clean your air fryer?
Hi - it’s very easy, all you typically need to do is clean out the basket with soap and water.
Hello Mr, I want to buy this machin
You definitely should!
hmm and its looks so dang clean inside 🤔kinda like advertising
I truly wish someone would pay me for something.
@@cookingwithcoit I hear ya
Looks great friend! Bon apetite
Thank you!
What about the skin it’s the best bit?
Haha, feel free to get into it 🙌🏻
Perfect!!!
Thank you so much for your videos. They are beneficial to me. I stopped ordering carry out ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
So glad to hear that!
Nice job.
Yes!
At $35 a lb in NYC I can’t afford such a delicacy!
0:34 wife? I didn't see that coming lol
Masya alloh kerennn
So you don’t need to flip it? Just one side
Hi the salmon looks real yummy but I have some problem with the air fryer part as mine is only up to 200°:/ any idea on how I can still make it happen?
Are you sure it's not 200°C? This video uses Fahrenheit, 370°F would be around 188°C
A tsp salt for that small piece of salmon!!!???
Add more if you like.

Looks delicious and I will try it but say no to drugs, don’t eat farmed salmon. Only wild for mr.
👍🏻👍🏻
370 F
6 minutes
You dont have to cook the other side ? Where the skin is
Nope, not unless you pick a really thick piece of salmon.
A teaspoon of salt on that itty bitty tiny piece of salmon???
A Tea spoon of salt 😳
Left so much seasoning on the board, could’ve rolled the rest of the salmon in it 😢
