I was listening to Dino Crisis save room the other day. I miss everything from the 90s video games so much.
Maybe it's more than the games... maybe it's that part of our life.
It was a huge part of my life growing and i played all these games up until high school and I was able to afford a new system.

Dude, I downloaded a PS1 emulator and also a bunch of Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Dino Crisis games just to play all of them. In 2020.

The descriptions it always have me as a kid made me go "Oh Fugg"
Inside the small office, you relax a tad, your tense muscles burning with molten blood. The snarling of the prehistoric beast outside just faintly heard at the door. You'd seen the movies, were they really that smart? Keeping a tight hold of the shotgun on your lap, you lean back in the uncomfortable office chair, waiting for your radio to come to life again.

Wow, I happened to come across this while searching for the original song, and I'm blown away. If they ever remake Dino Crisis, this should be the new save room theme.

I think this is my favorite work of yours! It's like an official save room theme for a third game if it came out for PS1 some years back. The entire music and every detail is so memorable and nostalgic. It brings me back to my childhood when me and my best friend back then used to be obsessed with dinosaurs and Dino Crisis 1 & 2. Now, as an adult, I don't even talk to him anymore because time and life distanced us from each other. I confess I miss the old days, but I'm so grateful for having these memories, you know? From good times that I had the opportunity to live through. Thank you so much for your art and for making me go through such good memories with pure nostalgia! Your work is stunning!

@@gabrieloliveira96 I like the thought of having so many potential friends around the world xD. Btw I still play DC 1 and 2 all 2 years on my ps1 with my brother if he's on my place for a weekend. Check out on YT there are some mods that scale up the backgrounds of dc2 to HD quality. It's awesome to watch the dc2 backgrounds without the blurry effect. But no one will ever take away the memories of my best friend and me played these games on a small TV in our rooms or under the roof through the night

Never played DC but from what I heard, it was very similar to the RE series. I wish I had the money back then to play this classic. The music is beautiful
I never owned DC myself either. Rented it back then, which was the only way to play a few more games than one could afford to buy during youth. But this is what made us appreciate things. Good times. Glad you like this, btw, thanks!

@@ticklemewesker7019 The puzzles can be a hassle in DC, but nontheless the game is decent enough for a friday night play, alone in your room or with friends to share the tension of some parts of this game.

Wow, this is incredible. If Dino Crisis ever gets a remake like the Resident Evil games have been having lately, then I hope that this track is used as the save room theme. Reminds me a lot of Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver too. It's like a truly ancient spiritual and tribal feel. You should do an hour loop of this gem when you get the time. Bloody amazing 😊🥰

Yep, a huge fan of all those games. They're all brimming with incredible depths. Truly timeless and symbolic games. I listened to Set You At Ease from Dino Crisis 2 recently and it gave me an urge to listen to this again. Have to say, I prefer this so much more. It's like Survival Spheres has taken the aforementioned theme and cranked the magic to eleven 😊

@@Johny40Se7en Didn't even notice my comment was made a year ago, time flies.. :D Regarding my name, pikachu was taken on PSN, so I had to be reeaally creative to change the letters, but ever since that everyone calls me Puka... :D Btw, Silent Hill 2 also has many good music, Alone in Town is my favourite, when I'm rarely playing LoL with my friends just to chill, that music takes me somewhere else with its atmosphere, I can erase the world around me and yet I'm still so calm and focused.

I'll check out Alone In Town. It's truly something when a piece of music can sort of dissolve life's shitty issues, and put you in a zone that's full of wonder and feelings like that. It's really no wonder why they call music a Universal language 🙂😄

This would immediately remind me of Dino Crisis even if I didn't know it was you or that it was meant to sound like it. That mellow synth pad on top is the perfect for it, and you wrote the perfect lines. I have no idea why you say writing in the Dino Crisis style doesn't work for you, as this is about the fifth piece or so that evokes it.
It's true, I've let Dino Crisis inspire me before (I know you could easily tell the exact pieces), but this is the first time I actually tried to DO Dino Crisis. It's hard for me for some reason, and this piece took longer than other music. That's why I'm even happier now that it seems to work for the people. Maybe I'll try to do more in the future.
Probably took longer because you haven't as much experience. If you were to do more, I imagine it would start to come easier to you.
This one is in fan remake and its very fiting in main menu screen as soon I heard it I know where it cames from

This is great! Dino Crisis is a really good game, but I was never able to beat it like all the Resident Evil games.
I found it much harder than the RE games as well for some reason.

*The classic Dino Crisis, that game was really good, I remember when I was 6 and I was playing that game, I enter in a room, come back and there is a freacking dinosaur there now. That was an amazing game, but welp Resident Evil was better for Capcom, they should have stayed with Dino Crisis instead of just bury the game, who knows? Maybe today we could had Resident Evil and Dino Crisis as a nice game franchise, but maybe Capcom didn't enjoy the idea :/*

They ruined it with Dino Crisis 3. Chances are they thought people would hold that against them and the franchise wouldn't sell as well again after that dirty money grab. Resident Evil instead suffered of a change of genre that they never talk about to try and keep the game selling; the fans that pick up the games now often don't enjoy the gameplay of the classics and complain about the old school 2nd person camera style. While it might be true that the market for RE4 was bigger than its predecessors one can only hope they'll figure out that there's still a lot of public waiting for the classics once they release those REmakes that not everyone wants to buy.

I think it wouldn't hurt if they continued the franchise with the same style and a different story. It's pretty much what Resident Evil Outbreak attempted as a spinoff. The only thing you need is a good horror story (ignoring the laughable dialogue from classic RE, plenty of people enjoy trying to piece together the plot of the Outbreak) and a good ambience to make a game that can truly touch the hearts of many and make people tremble in fear.
RE4 had its moments of horror, but it was mostly action; on the other hand, RE3 was mostly horror and had plenty of action. To me it seems the classic RE died alongside Dino Crisis as DC2 was released right after RE3, and RE4 took a completely different focus from there on, making the whole T-virus/Outbreak setting bogus and hard to follow with what seemed like a spinoff parasite virus.
One can only guess what their intentions were (maybe they ran out of elements to add to the story after the STARS debut/escape on RE3?), but I think there could be a lot of improvement done to the Resident Evil series as a franchise if they released more games following the setting of the originals. I might be wrong, but right now it seems as if the story of newer RE games is all over the place and can't be pieced together with the previous releases (other than "Hey guys, Leon is in this game and he remembers what happened in RC, you should buy it").
In a way Capcom did the same thing to DS that Squaresoft did to Parasite Eve. One of my friends works for a Japanese game company and he told me that the Japanese are famous for not caring at all what the Western market/fans think or want. It's not that they ignore it on purpose, they just don't think about it.... like if it was outside of their natural perception. Whether RE2make will turn out good or bad seems like a lottery.
The real moral of the story here must be "Stop pre-purchasing games." lol If the game turns out not to be what we want, we shouldn't be buying it so the sales will reflect that.

@@SurvivalSpheres One aspect I like about the DC2 version is the deep booms in the background that sound like T-rex footsteps. Technically, it is possible to pull from other songs and use their tones to make save theme "like" sounds. For instance, in Dino Crispo. My god I want a sequel to 2, and a remake of 1 and 2, or just capcom to remember dino crisis in general, because both games were fucking great. I'm a giant asshole for forgetting to even compliment this amazing remix. I love it by the way. The synth vibe throughout is mezmerizing especially. Honestly you could insert it into the game and it'd belong no problem. Good job.
