Lol I always do but I plan on using them for a movie so I can't give it away but yes silent hill music is excellent writing material! Especially those who are depressed, alcaholic, struggling with drug use or suicide it really digs deep and hits where it hurts

I think I know what you mean. I used to like 'sad music' for a good while, but eventually it got too much. No problem with a touch of tragedy or hopelessness, but it needs to stay subtle, i.e. not blunt and 'in your face'. Emotion needs to evolve naturally rather than being dictated to the listener.

You pick up a picture that's laying on the ground. The title says: "The nostalgia of yesterday." It shows a solitary figure standing amidst the misty haze of a closed gas station. The man, a picture of nonchalance, takes a drag from his cigarette as he leans against his classic American muscle car. The flickering light of the cigarette, the smooth curves of the car, and the eerie emptiness of the gas station should all come together to evoke a sense of longing for a simpler time. The picture showcases the interplay of old-school cool and modern ennui as the reflection of a bygone era.
That picture tells a story, and the protagonist is time.

I have to say, I had always been interested in Silent Hill even though I haven't played a game. Factory of Darkness was originally meant to be a Silent Hill fan game, but change it Resident Evil when I played the remake.
I have an idea, what about a channel called Resident Evil New boss music? I personally think RE has the best boss fight themes for a horror survival game.
My favorite franchise for more than a decade was resident evil
But after I played silent hill 1 last year and sh2 3 months ago I can't decide which is better. I love them both
But tbh silent hill 2 has arguably one of the best stories told in a video game if not the best.
The game really dives into human emotions so well.

Hey hope things are going well. This track is fantastic (like most of your work). I've emailed you a couple times recently and haven't gotten a response. I recently re-branded the page. Used to be ZombieDucky Productions. Been trying to let you know I'm back at it with he audiobook, and that I'm letting people know your work is in my project. In general your music has helped to flesh out the scenes just as much as the official pieces I use from the series. So thankyou for what you do, and thankyou for giving me permission to use it. We used to meet every day at the same place.
The long rainy walks used to soothe my mind, the thought of seeing him made me hide a smile. I'd cover my long hair under a grey hoodie and focused on the sounds around me.
As long as I remember I had never felt at peace in this life. I wanted to disappear, for things to stop. For them to stop screaming so goddamn loud.
But when I'd see him in the distance waiting for me my heart would always skip a beat.
We'd share a cigarette at the old gas station and talk about everything that would pop into our minds. Those were my moments of bliss, away from it all, together with him.
He'd look at me with curious eyes one day and asked me if I'd ever leave with him, anywhere. I thought about it but got scared. He noticed it and put his hand around my shoulder while laughing, reassuring me, telling me to not worry about it. For the time being, we had all we needed.
One day he wouldn't show up.
Then another.
Now I wonder why I still feel him all around, if I would be stronger then would I then not imagine his face in the mist each and every day. I still see him standing in the distance, waiting for me.
Maybe..
I have to go into the mist.
