Yes!!! Especially in The Emperor’s New School. The nuance, passion and humor with which she played Yzma throughout those two seasons is a treasure for all us fans: Y-Z-M-A , YZMA YZMA, HOORAY!

Fr fr it's a fun movie.
As far as I can tell there's a low-key elitism that if it wasn't in theaters it's garbage.
Similar to the sentiment that if it's not live-action it isn't a legit movie.
I think it might be because of how its several short stories put together into what is basically a sequel. While I like how its done here, I remember the Atlantis movie was my favorite as a kid, so when the sequel was just a bunch of one off stories I remember being very upset. It felt like it was just made to promote a tv series rather than be a legit sequel.
Ppl wouldve prefered a Kuzco sequel instead of a spin off sequel lol
But Kronk is based so yay
It was ok but The Emperor’s New School will always be my favorite spin off. I think the series handled the Kronk/Yzma dynamic better than the sequel.

A fantastic sequel, as fun as the original
"The Emperor's new groove" is a fantastic comedy that has been entertaining me since its debut in cinemas. Now there's another comedy, "Konk's new groove", who is as fun as the original. Rarely Disney keeps the original's spirit alive in a sequel (sequel?this seems more a spin-off), but they've done a great job for this one. Kronk is lovable and as realistic as ever,and the gags are original and very funny!The animation is not fantastic,and some characters,especially Yzma (one of my favourite Disney characters!)and Pacha's wife are less expressive than in the original.Anyway,the characters' look is faithful to the original.The songs are pretty and entertaining as well,especially the Yzma's one, in a cabaret-style. If you like the first film as a comedy,you won't miss this excellent sequel. Great work!

I'm also constantly reminded of the principle from the show fillmore Whenever I hear her voice. She has such an incredible range. She can sound kind and loving. Or she can sound like she's about to rip your spine out through your throat. And she can drop on a dime between those two with ease. That takes some serious skill that I wish I had.

Because she always said that phrase. To remind us things would be ok. That there's nothing to worry about. That in the end everything will be fine and turn out well. Everything will be tickety boo. 😢

This is one of the better sequels made. Cinderella 3 is probably the best of all the sequels.
Fun fact! During the wedding scene, Kronk crushes a glass under his foot! That is an old Jewish tradition for good luck and a happy marriage! Gotta love the little details.

Fun fact : in french, Kronk and Simba have the same voice actor, so it makes the scene of the almost thumb up (before Pacha in disguise interrupted it) much funnier because of the background music

Don't knock the placibo effect. It Is a real thing and is actually very amazing of what the human body is willing to do to repair itself if it thinks it's already on the mend. The key is you can never let the person under the effect know about it. Otherwise the whole thing instantly stops working. But if you don't know well that's the power of the placibo.
Lion king 2 and Aladdin 2 and 3 are really good. You guys should check them out.

First time i saw this I didnt expect a Kronk anthology.
Wasn't what I was expecting from a sequel, but still thought it was really good. Both of these movies are really funny and underrated.

It was a pretty great sequel!! I had it on DVD and played the hell out of it. The soundtrack was popin’ when I was 8 and now at 26 😂😂 Mulan 2 is my fav Disney sequel highly recommend pls!

One of the Disney sequels that I think is better than the original is The Lion King 2: Simbas Pride.

Well, I am not going to try to beat you with a stick Like most disney fans would. I do kind of have to disagree. I think that the live action movie should be at the bottom. It just didn't feel like it had the same heart as the animated movies. Even the sequels felt like they had more heart and feeling put in them.

Honestly not a bad sequel! I know Disney sequels more specifically straight to DVD sequels are often hit or miss but I honestly think despite the ratings, that this one was a pretty big hit IMO. It already won major points for bringing back the original cast. Something Disney sequels often don't do.
For a DVD movie that Disney made. This one is one of their best. Some other Disney films that I would hope you boys will see is Tarzan, Dinosaur (2000) & George of the Jungle. Lot of favorites to me.
I feel like Lion King 2 is a bit better than people give it credit for too.
Since you guys have been a Disney binge, my suggestion would Disneys Dinosaur from the Year 2000, one my favourite Disney movies from my childhood.

Thank you for reacting to this movie I love it just as much as I love Emperor's New Groove and Kronk is really funny he is my favorite character, about the show I watched it and enjoyed it even more than the movies I can’t remember it but it was amazing but I couldn’t find it to complete it because all the old Disney series or movies I have always watched them in my language so when I searched for the show it doesn’t show to me neither in my language or English sadly, but this movie is a new experience since it is my first time hearing it in English.

I liked this one more than the first movie. I miss the times when Disney dared to do something silly and unhinged.
Random recommendation: “Fillmore!” A Disney animated show that’s basically CSI middle-school with surprisingly good mysteries, action, and good ‘criminal’ plans.
God I used to love fillmore. I was a huge fan of law n order, And police procedurals even as a kid. So seeing a kid's cartoon based on police procedural Was absolutely wonderful. It was basically law n order for kids And I freaking loved it. Also The voice of The principle, Is done by the same actress who voiced pacha's wife in the first emperor's new groove movie. And was also the voice of eda the owl lady.

I love this movie for how incredibly stupid it is. I get how and why it got all the hate it did/does, and you can always watch the TV show or go back to the first film and still get as much of a good time if not better, but if you get down with all the nonsense this movie throws at you, i think you can definitely enjoy it.

I remember my elementary school renting a whole movie theater during the holiday season and showing this movie to kids who were moving up a grade. We even got a goodie bag with the DVD and thumbs up foam finger.
