- The 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last weekend, and THE BUZZ was there to cover the red carpet once again.
Michael Muhney plays the role of Adam Newman on CBS Daytime's "The Young and the Restless." Proclaimed to be the black sheep of the Newman clan, Adam certainly has had his fair shakes in Genoa City. We got to speak with Muhney about Adam's recent change in behavior to those he once said he cared about, what's to come for Adam, and the Day. Emmy nomination process.

Michael brings such depth and emotion to the character of Adam Newman. I enjoy the show, and I especially his performances! He is a terrific actor, no doubt!

I love Michael Muhney and I love that he plays Adam Newman on The Young & the Restless! Michael Muhney's wife is stunning! I love how he looks when he talks about his wife! I also love that he keeps it real and says what he feels. He seems down to earth as well.
I like Michael Muhney. I am sad that he was fired and I would like to know everything about the alleged sexual harassment before passing judgment. I hope the allegations are not true but regardless, he is fired and that is sad.
Michael Muhney is an excellent actor and he will go on and do bigger and better things! The Y&R will not be the same without him. As for the Y&R they were stupid for letting him go! I am done with Y&R!

I enjoy Adam on the Y and R. It must be exhausting to play the dark horse all the time. I actually feel the intense dislike other characters have for him on the show. He rarely smiles and is always defending himself. It is very convincing. He is the best Adam yet. Hope that he stays on the show for a while.
