For those wondering what’s new since the making of this video. I’ve upgraded a few things.
-Spool Performance fx-180 hpfp
-CTS Turbo Intake
-Vargas GC Turbo
Went with a new tuner by the name of Jeffery Payn. Have yet to dyno the new setup however i’m speculating the numbers will be around 580-600whp. I’ve done some dragy testing and my 60-130 was a 7 flat. 100-200 was a 6 flat. Don’t believe me, check out the dragy leaderboards :)

Love the video and also love the car. I also drive a 340! Gen1 B58. I’m in absolute love. Just wanted to let everyone know that when you go from the gen 1 B58 to the revision of the B58 that’s in even the earliest “BMW” Supra’s lol there’s more than just the high pressure fuel pump that’s different from what I heard. I could be wrong though. I think they relocated a couple of key components like the timing chain and also another one I can;t remember. Don’t quote me but wanted to put my tiny bit of knowledge out there! Safe driving everyone
Toyota did do changes to both the B48 and B58 yes, so it wouldnt surprise me if BMW uses the Toyota improved engines even in their own cars. But with that said, Toyota were actually impressed with the B-modular engines before they changed a few things. Gotta remember the BMW-Toyota partnership started with the BMW i8 which had one of the first B-modular engines (B38), if not the first.

Just switched from a tuned wrx to a 340i, big upgrade for sure. The wrx was a fun car with character for sure but the power of this car along with the luxury is perfect for a fast daily

They are definitely not 320hp stock. That is the number BMW states but that number is much higher.

I got a 340 as well but just curious when y’all roll racing is it faster to use the paddles or to just put it in S mode and let it Shift on its own ??

Honestly for me the s mode is faster especially if you tune the transmission but I still beat scat packs with psddekd

Whats better xdrive or rwd for the 340i
Depends what you are in to and where you live. If it gets cold, xDrive is a lifesaver and you can turn it off with xDelete for best of both worlds.

The rwd is lighter than the awd but I pick the awd over the rwd
xDrive launches hard. If you get any kind of snow, xDrive works incredible in the snow and ice. You can disable it with the xDelete tune. RWD is a little lighter, but for the reasons listed I think if you have the choice AWD is the way to go.
I get sub 4 second 0-60 launches at 5000+ feet altitude. BM3 Stage 2 E30 tune, xHP trans tune, AWD.

Car sounds and looks amazing. Bmw is moving away from dual clutch transmission because the zfp trans are smooth at lower speeds and they do hold alot of power. Also the shift times are almost identical if not the same nowadays. And price must be the biggest factor, I'm sure they are cheaper to make and repair.
