Just came across your channel. I like your officer gimmick. Kind of funny cause there's Edi. E the Cop boss but I digress. The only shortcoming with both Snes versions of Final Fight was the exclusion of multi-player. Other than that, it was an awesome port. The GBA port was my favorite with all the cool new unlockables like Alpha Guy and Cody from Street Fighter.
Thank you! Yeah I'm a cop in real life and love video games so my channel is pretty much my own journal from all the games I grew up playing. I never played the gba one. But I love the sega cd version.
This is a really awesome channel in a really awesome video I just found this today in my recommendations and I prefer the arcade version of final fight since it has all three of the characters and are you actually a cop or is that just your username just curious
That is so cool I guess the reason why you were in my recommendation just because I usually watch retro Batman games which you know Batman expired me to stand up for what's right
That's awesome. I'm going to be reviewing those games soon. If theirs a certain old school one you want me to review let me know and I'll do that one first.
Really good review of the game. It is, by far, a tame one compared to the Sega CD version, but at least that game had more power put into it by Sega being on the CD add-on. What bugged me about this game was the fact that it was released in the US almost three years after the original port of Final Fight (albeit as a Blockbuster only rental, which explains its sky-high resell price) and yet they couldn't find a way to add the two-player co-op, or restore the Industrial Level, or add more enemies on the screen at a time so it's not as boring? Weird. Also, for my money, I would prefer this only slightly over the original Streets of Rage. But the second and third games? No competition, SOR rolls Final Fight. Consider me subscribed, look forward to pursing your uploads and seeing future ones!
Well said!!! It's still a close battle for me on the streets of rage vs final fight war but it's fun to go through them again. Yea they could've had more content for the blockbuster version. Appreaciate the support!
@@Officergamer101 yeah there were some good moments , I was blown away again when I saw Ridge racer and Toshinden on playstation in 1994 before it's worldwide release. I knew someone who had the japanese version
Man I agree that streets of rage is the better game and talking all 3 games not just the one but I still love final fight on the snes that why I have all three games I just think streets of rage has little more going for it so rember I love both series do be saying in the comments that I don't love one I like both series!

Big huge characters that you can actually clearly see, as well as great backgrounds that aren't a horrible mess and it is obvious which game to choose. Final Fight. Sure, you might like the music of Streets of Rage, but I'd counter that Final Fights music is almost as good. If you like small undiscernible characters, that look like a cross from 8-bit and 16-bit, go with Streets of Rage. IF you want BIG in your face graphics and characters, with better controls, go with Final Fight. PERIOD!!!
Because us 90s kids are adults now and wanting to turn back the clock to simpler times. reliving the good ol days with reviews. This channel is basically my personal journal
Hey I didn't think that at all lol your good! Yeah it's harder for me the upload the old school nes 2d platformers cause I have to use my old TV. Still fun though
I remember renting Final Fight and being mad how much they cut from the arcade version including Guy and then released that version with Guy which was lame.
Back in the day we didn’t care about the boxes.
@@damin9913 it's because they're dumb 😢
Sega CD version of final fight is the home port to get.
True! We did not care about the boxes back then lol. Yeah the sega cd version is awesome. I have the disc and manual but not the box unfortunately.
@@Officergamer101 Sega boxes doubled as storage so they're a lot easier to find now than the nintendo cardboard.
I love Final Fight (I have the arcade), but Streets of Rage 2 is the best beat em up of all time.
Theirs so many great beat em ups idk which one is my favorite but this is in my top 5 for sure

Tomorrow I'll be uploading that review! Can't wait to talk about it.

Haggar kinda reminds me of Jesse "the body" Ventura 😅
I couldn't figure out what wrestler they were trying to copy but I can see it now with jesse ventura lol.
I held on to the Earthbound box for about a year before my Dad tossed it out because it took up too much room
NO!!!! I hurt with you dang!
you played this in 1996? that's kinda late .. many people moved on to 32bit/64bit consoles
Yep. I was born in 1990. First controller I held was nes. Didn't get a snes till 1995
@@Officergamer101 ok I feel spoiled.. I got this game around 1991-92 and jumped off my chair it looked so good. I was like Mario and Zelda could wait.

you should've been the spoke person for Nintendo lol. But yeah I just wish snes had a better port of the arcade game.
How are there so many classic game review channels?

Yeah I never understood that. Turtles in time was flawless and came out I think in 1992
