I enjoyed your video. Liked the tray and ball the most. I will try using the purple end of some stained corks for red grapes. I also use corks in making hot plate trivets for gifting. People seem to enjoy them, and my wife keeps me well supplied with corks!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The tray and ball are such fun projects, and using stained corks for red grapes sounds like a fantastic idea. Your trivets must make great gifts! Thanks so much for watching!!!😊
Pro tip... If you soak the corks that you need to cut ahead of time, it'll keep them from crumbling when you try to cut them and then they can dry out in the oven if you don't want to wait the dry time before gluing! Great ideas ❤
Thanks Paige! I actually did try the steaming for 10-15 minutes method before cutting and honestly, it didn’t seem to help me too much- which is why I didn’t even mention it in the video- but , maybe I did it wrong-lol!! Thanks so much for watching- and commenting!!!😊
OMG these are absolutely gorgeous and amazing! Again Sayre you knocked it outta the universe!!!
Thank you so much Donna!!!!I'm so glad you think so!!!! You're so sweet- thank you for being you!!!!☺❤

I love all these DIYs, but I especially love that wine cork tray with the 3 D grapes in green!! ❤❤😊
Thank you so much!!! I’m so glad at least one other person is “team green” on the grape tray-lol!!!! Thanks for watching-and for this sweet comment!!!!!😊❤️
I love ❤ your DIY!
Thanks a bunch for liking my DIY, I appreciate it!❤
I love them all. Especially the first one on the wood round. I also like white wine but I'd put the purple "grapes" simply because I like purple much more than green.
Thanks so much! Yeah- I may make another with purple grapes- I think I might like that better too!! Thanks for watching and for your support!!!😊
Great ideas!! Classy!
thank you so much!! I'm so glad you liked it!!!😊
I love the tray and the ball at the end I’m team green grapes (white wine)
Me too Heather!!! But I may try the purple grapes too-just to see if I like the look- lol!! Thanks so much for watching!!!😃
I was wondering where you were going with the first diy. When I saw you hold paint brushes in it, HOLY MOLY!, What a great idea!
Thank you Susan!!! I was so excited to find a pretty way to hold my brushes while I’m working!!! I’m so glad you liked it too!!! Thanks so much for watching and for commenting!!!!😊❤️
Sayre, That's a lot of wine corks! All the projects are cool, but that tray is yummy! I like the round riser tray as well. I must say the candles and spike ball aren't for me but the brush and pencil holder is ingenious. When my late husband and I made wine we had to buy corks from a wine maker's shop, along with the bottles. Making wine is great fun. Didn't drink much of it, but making it was a blast. He started because his grandmother made dandelion wine, and from there it went to blueberry, strawberry, elderberry and even pear sparking wine. That one received a first prize at the fair! See you next week, Sayre, God Bless 💖🤟🙏👑✝
Thank you so much Cindy!!!! Lol- yes I know , I now have soooo many wine corks!! I do love that “grape” tray though- I may make another with purple grapes too!! I really find that brush holder useful for holding brushes while I’m working- so it’s definitely one of my favorites!! That’s so interesting about all the different wines your husband’s grandmother used to make! I guess I never realized you make so many berry varieties of wine- they must have been yummy!!! Thank you so much for all your supportive comments!! I’m so glad you’re here!!!❤️❤️❤️
Gorgeous
Thank you so much Francis!!
I just love the tray and I want to make one for a friend who is a real wine lover. The hard part will be finding corks; I don't drink!
Thanks so much Maryanne!!! I’m so glad you like the tray!!! Yeah- if it wasn’t for the Facebook group , I’d never have had enough of those corks to do that-lol!!! Thanks so much for watching!!!!😊
You can reduce the number of corks by cutting them in half length-wise. If you're careful, you can preserve the designs on the sides, too. If you fit all the pieces before hot-gluing, you can trim several cork ends to fit the rows and columns perfectly without chopping any cork in its middle. That'll leave each image on the corks intact.
You are so creative and very talented. Love love your desigms
Thank you so much! That’s so sweet of you to say!! Thanks for watching!!!😊
Have you ever done a picture of a bottle or wine glass with the corks? I'm interested
No Shirley- I've never tried that- but what an interesting idea!!! I may have to give that one a try!!! Thanks so much for watching!!!!😊
If you have a large number of corks, then you can use the ends that were stained by wine for its color to form an image. It'll be helpful to have sorted out every cork end by color, and use a piece of software to figure out where in the image to use that cork end as a "pixel". Of course, the simplest image to create is an outline of a wine glass or bottle, rather than a complex image using varying shades of red and brown "pixels".
The tray is beautiful! I don't drink any kind of alcohol, so I can't tell u white or red wine. Take care, happy crafting n hope u have a wonderful 4th of July week.
Thanks so much Michelle!! You have a happy 4th as well!!! Thank you so much for watching!!!❤️
I liked the wine cork basket. Plan to take that idea to my Hobby Club.
Awesome- I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!😊
