Those diamond-shaped bits down the middle of the fluke might be a good spot for colours. You could also echo the red accent from the fluke onto the other fins, I bet that would look really cool.
@@kappagrapes I did end up coloring the diamond parts in, but the pigment I used is a very difficult one to work with, so it doesn't shift unless the lighting is juuuuust right. So they mostly look black 🥲🖤
Oh my gosh. I just got the notification that you posted. I just got thrown back into 2017/18 when you only had one tail. I love to see how far your platforms have come. I’m not sure if you remember me but I went by Lumina back then. I was like 11/12 😅. It’s so refreshing to see your videos again.
@@TheMagicCrafter I ended up getting another mertailor one after I had lost that one. Can’t believe you actually remember that haha! I haven’t gotten a silicone one yet as Canada has very cold long winters and the lakes have been getting drier and drier every summer. But owning a silicone tail definitely never went off my list! I was 11 when I started and watched you. Im 18 now adulting, so hopefully soon I’ll be able to make my 11 year old self happy with one. I’ve been goth for 6 years now and whenever I tell the story of how I ended up goth, you’re still who I tell everyone I was inspired by! 😁
That color shifting pigment would be beautiful going up the fluke in the ridges to the tips, maybe doing a little bit on all the extra fins gradually tappering the pigment as you go up the fins in like lines? Also another idea I had was doing some of the same shapes in Shadow's first silicone tail, maybe higher on the fluke complementing any of the lines or shapes you made prior! I've painted on one of my fabric tails before and It can be a lot of fun, Happy swimming! 🥰
Nice Tail The Mermaid is siren very The beautiful so swimming is water I like you The Magic Crafter I Love Mermaids thank you so much for video 🎥💙🧜♀️.
I am so heartbroken that the Miishy tail didn't work out- it was ironically also my favorite tail of your set because of its crazy color shift and beautiful shape as well as just being a black mermaid tail (we NEVER see those i swear!!!). I knew something was up when I watched your unboxing video/swim video and you pointed out the top coat was peeling already, I hope they improve in future because their designs have promise. My first impression is that I am very glad Braveer fixed how secure their shipping box was. Excited to see that mystery fourth tail by them~ Those scales on your shadow tail look divine, I cannot express how unique those look. perhaps the red to gold to black? like it ombres through the tail, its hard to explain but gosh shadow is gorgeous! Anyways this is so long, I can't wait to see your swim video with this new shadow!!!
Love your pirate outfit! I’m hosting a pirate gathering this weekend so I appreciate the inspiration 🏴☠️😎 the tail looks so beautiful! I look the patterns in each scale, wonderfully made! Can’t wait to see in the water as well 😃
This makes my little goth heart so happy!! I would love to buy a mermaid tail, but I'm not the best at swimming and I don't really have anywhere I could go to wear it. (I live near the ocean, but I feel like cleaning sand out of a silicone tail would be a nightmare) I also have a lot of tattoos and I'm afraid parents wouldn't really want their kids running up to me. 😅
These are beautiful! They’re awfully expensive for my budget, so I’ll have to hold back on buying one. I don’t have a pool, but my good friend does and he lives on a lakefront community, so I could always enjoy it at his place.
Great tail! Love the scales and the fins. I would like to see the painting video. Love your pirate outfit. You should look up Anne Boony, Mary Read, and Zheng Yi Saon they were three female pirates in history. 🧜♀️🏴☠️🦜⛵🥰🥰😍😍🖤🖤 have a great weekend!
Thank you! :) I'll get started on editing the painting video as soon as I can! Pirates are pretty neat- probably would have been terrifying to meet them in real life, but they're fun to learn about. Thank you for the suggestions!
@@TheMagicCrafter My state was full of them like Blackbeard, Captain Vane, and Steed Bonett. I have a lot of books on pirates. One book from 1725. In 1990 somebody found Blackbeard's ship underwater.
Wouldn't getting a mermaid monotail with tiny air pockets built in be a better option, so it has native buoyancy that can help offset your natural body weight? This way, you can reduce your chances of drowning, and decrease your workload while swimming?
Everyone's body is different. Some tend to float, and some are more prone to sinking. And, for salt water swimmers, it is actually so difficult to sink (because of how salt water behaves) that many divers and mermaids will use dive weights just to stay under. I have a few fabric tails that float, and they actually make swimming slightly more difficult, since you have to kind of fight to dive under (let out more air and constantly counteract the upward drift via force). I don't prefer it personally! Silicone tails like this one are neutrally buoyant, so they don't cause sinking or cause floating. It's perfect, because they don't make sinkers sink more or floaters float more... they kind of keep you at the level that you're used to. If you do find that you sink too much, you could always fashion a belt out of sliced pool noodles? :)
a vampire mermaid? have you ever heard of the Russian made movie "Mermaid", which is a horror movie taking place in a lake? I thought it was really good and creepy!
So what was ordering like? I'm trying to understand what they mean when they say "pick scales/fins/tops" etc. when they don't really have those options specifically listed out to see. :'>
Please email me at Shadow@MermaidTravelTails.com I can send you the scale pics and answer any questions you may have. I do work with them and speak with them frequently. :)

Have those fins on the front i think that would be the best
I've decided to wear them in the back to cover the heel bumps. But I suppose I can switch it up on occasion. :)
Have you ever decided to cosplay one of Anne Stokes's mermaids? She's a Gothic fantasy artist
I have not! I usually just stick to my own characters 🥰🖤 but I'd be curious to see her work sometime. I'm not familiar with it 🖤
I've been trying to buy one! But their website doesn't have like a cart, or an email, nothing! It's literally jusy pictures
