Huge hugs to the UK Police for taking all the entitled and irresponsible drivers off the road for the safety of all that do respect the system. Pay up or get off the road!

Anyone oblivious enough not to realize they were being pulled over by that car with flashing red and blue lights should not be on the road regardless of blood alcohol %. They should not have let them drive away.
I was driving while tired once, had tried napping in the car but couldn't fall asleep. I got stopped by the police. The bright lights, adrenalin rush and cold air woke me right up.
Why don't UK drivers carry their licences all the time ? It a simple fix to an expensive mistake mate. IF you are going to be driving you KNOW that you need to be road legal which means license, Insurance and MOT and Tax.
Just because the tow vehicle he drives is the largest in the fleet where he works, doesn't equate to it being the largest tow vehicle capable of carrying a passenger car and towing what is effectively another recovery vehicle. You clearly forgot to switch on your brain before getting on your high horse and leaving a comment that only served to make you look foolish.

I would have thought robbers who leave items behind in stolen vehicles, which is not the property of owner. The items would be given to the Police for further investigation, perhaps get DNA. Doesn't seem right that the recovery yard employees can discard the items or help themselves to the items. The Mini driver passed the alcohol test, but no drug test was done.
Tow Yard and Tow Trucks in America do not have the cranes to lift cars out of tight spots. I really wish they did but unfortunately the vehicles are just too big !
Driver fatigue in the UK? try driving in Australia mate. I live in a rural country town with long stretches of nothing and tourists in vans who don't know how to drive to the conditions of our road. I.E. I almost had a head on crash with a Chinese lady who got on the freeway using the off ramp.

Wrong, it’s about safety but that costs money. People like you are the ones that run on no insurance, un registered cars that couldn’t pass inspection to save your life. It's normally called 'Motor Tax' for to pay a fee for the use of an engine - it's a way of the state getting revenue from road users - it's normally proportional to the size of the engine.
