I love how you showed 3 different ways to use the cricut joy! Most videos I’ve seen only show the vinyl or drawing options. It was cool to see the iron on version as well!
I found your channel today because TH-cam suggested one of your top organizing hacks videos.... as I was watching that video I literally paused a few time to look closer at your labels because they looked really chic. So I went to your channel and found this video... SO satisfying, I'm SO glad you made this label video! I will definitely be getting this Cricket
I never in a million years thought I would want to buy a fancy labeling machine but over the past few months after watching your videos, I really am wanting to get one and think it would be a great investment!!! Thank you for sharing all these amazing ideas, Sophie!
THANK YOU so much. I've been struggling with making labels and the way you explained it in the beginning of the video was AWESOME. I finally know how to at least make labels with my Joy!!! THANK YOU
Thanks for the awesome video. Bought this for our daughter and I have to say that at first, I was intimidated. But we did a card and a label and the instructions were very clear. Having watched your video, I’m ready to try an iron-on label. Have a great 2023!
You never cease to amaze me! I like the black & white best. Thank you for your time, help and inspiration! I wonder if you can help decutter email, junk mail and spam. I never really learned that skill with any good direction.
Thanks for making this video. Been thinking about buying a Cricut to make labels for things around my home and you helped me to choose. I really like the brown glass bottles but probably will have smaller labels.
Great job in demonstrating and explaining the Joy and the mini press! I’m more excited, now, to get a Joy. I already have the mini press, but like my Cricut that I bought months ago, I haven’t used, yet. I’m looking forward to using all of them for labeling containers and also making t-shirts and tote bags for gifts, as soon as I have my craft table set up.
Ohh I love your work..thank you for the showing. Now i will try to make them at homeee🙏🙏🙏🙏..can you tell me please which pen are you using for the cricut....thank youuu 🙏🙏🙏
Hello I love your video and is detailed. My daughter just bought be the joy Cricut but I find the app hard to work with since I’ve never end used a Cricut before. Do you have a more detailed video on how to exactly use the app for spice jar label making? My pens are doing a very light light ink and the pressure is on more. Thank you Angela
Hi, I couldn’t get any of your links to work. Did you have one for the hair products you use. I’m interested in trying some new products. Loved the video! Thanks 😊
Great video for us that are deciding if we'll purchase a Circut Joy, and how we can use it. Why did you use vinyl for labels instead of paper? Is it regular or infuseable pens that write on vinyl labels. And while I'm at it, how do people decide between permanent and removable vinyl? And can we buy regular (not Smart) vinyl and use it with a mat in the Circut Joy?
So glad you found it helpful! Vinyl is waterproof and sticky. The writable paper that they sell you can use regular pens on it. For permanent v. removable, I like permanent in most cases because it can go through the dishwasher and holds up pretty well but if you pick at the edge of it you are still able to pull it off so its not really "permanent". Yes, you can buy regular vinyl as well for the joy and use a smaller mat, I do that sometimes as its typically the more cost effective way.
Oh this makes me want to get mine out and really dive into and see what I can do with my Joy. I just got it this past week and all the goodies to go with it.
While I use my Cricut to label fabric totes (with heat transfer vinyl) and the doors and drawers in my craft room (with glitter vinyl 'cause I'm fancy!), I use a regular label maker for anything small and not covered in fabric -- both to get a smaller label and to avoid weeding letters. I will actually cheat and make a fancy background shape with the Cricut and put a black-on-clear P-touch label over that. That's also a good solution when you think you may change what is where but don't want to keep re-doing the cut label.
Thanks for this tip. I am new to Cricut and my first label was losing all the insides to “e” and “a” etc, and I thought I was missing some detail in how to weed. I have a ton of labels to make and couldn’t see weeding and replacing all those %#^*€ little letter details!😅
I like the amber glass. We used to refill plastic back bar shampoo sizes at my salon. The plastic can become brittle over time and crack. I like the look and feel of glass vs plastic, but your right about them possibly being a breaking risk in the shower.
This video is super helpful! But, how did you edit multiple lines? I can’t get that pop up editor and if o try to edit within the text, I can only edit the first line. Thanks!
Great video; thanks! New to Cricut and plan to buy a Joy just for labeling and organizing my home. This was helpful. P.S. Since you asked, I like the glass, amber bottles better. 😉
Does the cricut save the job? As in, I have a certain font and size for x amount of containers and I want to make more matching labels can I go back to a saved font and size?
Great video & ideas! Do you have a link for the small plastic boxes that you put the labels on? I looked on your Amazon store list and links and didn’t see them?
Hi Sophie, thank you so much for this video. I have ordered a Maker today and hope to have chosen the right machine.I am happy to start my "labelling everything" process very soon
I love these labels, and I want to buy a Cricut Joy, where did you get those little boxes that you put your essential oils in. They fit perfectly in that.
Thank you for sharing your ideas!🌹 This looked so easy! I love labels! I like the ideas you have. I like bold lettering and how you can make it to your liking. Does your counter ever get messy? It was clean and easy! You are just GREAT and SUPER comfortable with the process! That little "Cricket" is a JOY!☺
Thanks so much! 😊 It is a joy!! We try to make sure the counters are cleaned off, although there are definitely points in the day where it gets messy but I always make sure to clean it off before bed every night!
Yes you can! Just be careful with the heat settings not to overheat and melt it! It is actually a multi colored glitter with lots of different colors in it! Super fun!
This is a great ideal. I like the amber for home, because the black and white looks like a beauty shop approach, but since I’m all about safety, I would definitely do the black and white. Thanks for the video.
I am not a crafter but would love to make my own labels. My daughter has the cricket joy so I can use that but I am very intimidated by it. My question is why did you have to use the transfer tape on the first set of labels and not the second? Please explain it to me like I am five!
I wish I could do this SIMPLE thing with MY new joy. Tried everything. The vinyl is coming up when being cut. I've tried a new blade and everything. What vinyl are you using and what paper settings PLEZ! Unless I got a bad one!?!?!?
Make sure you have it set to vinyl and you are using the right mat for the right type of vinyl. A regular vinyl works best with the standard grip mat and may move around if you have a light grip mat. I like oracle 651 or cricut brand vinyl
Tried to use the links to order a Cricut but it says "currently unavailable". Did I find this video too late? Wanted to order it under your TH-cam because I really like all your videos.
Two questions: For the smart label with two steps, how come you didn't use transfer tape (Just trying to figure out the best way to make my labels)? Also what is the benefit of using the mini hot press vs. a regular iron (debating getting one)? I prefer the amber glass bottles, but that's for me. If your style is more the white, they look really nice too and I say stick with those! Thank you for showing the three ways to do smart labels, I am a Cricut noob, so this really helps me lol.
I'll add answer, but you probably figured it out by now; and I'm only looking at buying a machine - so who knows if i got it right. But at the least, if your letters are formed by indivdual pieces of vinyl the transfer tape helps you move them as a whole (keep kerning between letters, aligned, etc); whereas her labels for mini plastic boxes were large enough to safely handle (though she noted the outline did get a crinkled) and the letters themselves are formed by the markers.
I have been so intimidated by this machine. I’ve watched so many videos that are way over my head. The creators go so fast, I just move on. Not only thank you for this video, but thank you for acknowledging, respecting and encouraging those who just haven’t made the click yet!❤ Why can’t you use a regular iron?
Of course, glad you found it helpful! You can use a regular iron if you desire,! I prefer the cricut one because of its settings and if you get the larger one it has a built in timer and can cover the full surface of something like a t-shirt!
I was so excited for this video! I’ve had my cricut joy for around a month now and am loving it! I make cards on mine and of course labels. The silver iron on is beautiful though, I might have to try that next, it’s so addictive! 😄💕
love how you added the video on the side for navigating through the Circuit app. Thank you so much for making it so clear and easy to follow!
Glad you liked it!!
I have been looking for a video like this. I recieved a Cricket Joy for Mother's Day I never used it. I appreciate this video. Thank you😊
You are so welcome!
Cool! I did not know that magnet trick! That is the magnet that holds the cover closed. Gave you a thumbs up for that :)
Thank you! Glad you liked that little trick!
I am an organizer in WA and am just learning about this Cricut Joy. Thank you for this video. I look forward to offering these labels to my clients.
Wonderful! They will LOVE them!! Upgrades any organizing project!
I love how you showed 3 different ways to use the cricut joy! Most videos I’ve seen only show the vinyl or drawing options. It was cool to see the iron on version as well!
Glad it was helpful!
So true! I never thought about the iron on transfers being used as a 'label'. I was only thinking hats, bags, and t-shirts
I'm so glad to hear that!!! Hope you enjoy the Cricket, they are so handy!
I never in a million years thought I would want to buy a fancy labeling machine but over the past few months after watching your videos, I really am wanting to get one and think it would be a great investment!!! Thank you for sharing all these amazing ideas, Sophie!
Thanks Ashna!! Since I bought mine I instantly fell in love, so worth the price with all of the projects I've used it for!
The same from me...this machine looks awesome especially after watching these demo clips. Great thanks for the informative tutorials.
Congrats Dear. You are very skilled at doing these labels. So organised. Most commendable.
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you , for making this simple for a beginner, I learned so much .
THANK YOU so much. I've been struggling with making labels and the way you explained it in the beginning of the video was AWESOME. I finally know how to at least make labels with my Joy!!! THANK YOU
Glad it was helpful!
This is the PERFECT sponsorship for you! Everything turned out so pretty!!
Just got a cricut joy and learning as I go so appreciate coming upon this video! I prefer your plastic white bottles with the black labels.
Yay enjoy your new cricut!!
OMG that little baby easy press is so cool! Also loved the glitter label!
haha isn't it so cute!
Thanks for the awesome video. Bought this for our daughter and I have to say that at first, I was intimidated. But we did a card and a label and the instructions were very clear. Having watched your video, I’m ready to try an iron-on label. Have a great 2023!
Oh I love that, I hope she enjoys her new cricut!
Thanks!
You are so kind, THANK YOU!!!
This is so fun! I now want to label everything in my home! ☺️ Also, I love your outfit! 💗
Thanks Jenny!! Now you know how I feel haha 😊
I agree, she does look beautiful in that outfit. ^-^
You never cease to amaze me!
I like the black & white best. Thank you for your time, help and inspiration!
I wonder if you can help decutter email, junk mail and spam. I never really learned that skill with any good direction.
Oh thank you Barbara! I do have one video on "digital organization" but would love to talk about email specifically in more detail!
Thanks you for such a comprehensive video. And I’ll also weigh in about the bottles-I prefer the amber with white/silver labels. Very pretty!
Thank you so much!!
Great tutorial! Thank you!
So glad you found it helpful!
I enjoy watching you so much-you got your act together girl.
Aww thank you!!
White bottles with black labels look so much cleaner. I love them!
Thanks for this video. There is a learning curve though. I learned two years ago and have forgotten some of the tips and tricks to the Joy.
The Black & White goes more with your decor!!! Love the you did this vid. you inspired me to take mine out & experiment!!! Thanks Sophie!!!
I think so too! I had the amber bottles in my old bathroom that was just all white tile.
Great tutorial! I appreciate how clear you make the instructions. I just bought a Cricut Joy and need all the help I can get! 😊
So glad you found it helpful, I hope you enjoy yours!
Hi! Great video. At 11:41, you have mat 1 of 1. Mine wants two mats and then the cutting does not align with the text. Do you know how to fix that?
Thank you for the video it is just what I needed. ❤
You are so welcome!
Thanks for making this video. Been thinking about buying a Cricut to make labels for things around my home and you helped me to choose. I really like the brown glass bottles but probably will have smaller labels.

Now i will try to make them at homeee🙏🙏🙏🙏..can you tell me please which pen are you using for the cricut....thank youuu 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much, good luck! I am using the cricut brand pens!
I would love to make a part two focusing on this!
I just bought my first Cricut Joy, so this was perfect timing! I like the simplicity of the black and white with your bathroom containers.
YAY!! I hope you are loving it and finding all sorts of fun projects you can do with it. 😊
I spent most of lockdown last year labeling things in my home. Want to do it all again now!
Sounds like an awesome way to spend lockdown!! haha at least that is my ideal way!
Looks great and relatively easy!! I want to label my home now!! Have a great day!!
It really is!! Haha now you know how I feel!
I loved your video, but I don't understand what tabs you clicked on Design space to get to the box to type the labels into. Thx!
Sorry about that!
Hi,
I couldn’t get any of your links to work.
Did you have one for the hair products you use.
I’m interested in trying some new products.
Loved the video!
Thanks 😊

Didn't even think about the plastic breakdown over time, great point!
This is awesome Sophie, fun to watch 💞
Thank you so much!
This video is super helpful! But, how did you edit multiple lines? I can’t get that pop up editor and if o try to edit within the text, I can only edit the first line. Thanks!
Pleases make a video on how you use the circuit design space
I would love to make an additional one on that!
I love the amber bottles. They look classy and more expensive.
Great point, thank you!
For the writable vinyl labels, you could WRITE that inside border instead of CUT. Great video!
Great idea!
Hi Sophie what size were your labels font. It was a bit fast in that section thanks
I like the amber ones better especially the font.
Thanks so much!!
Zen tutorial, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
This is so strange--but do you recall where your knife block is from? Exactly what I've been looking for!
Could you use these labels in scrapbooks, which need to be acid free?
Great video!
Thank you so much!
I've watched other tutorials and they said the Joy couldn't do a Print then Cut. Was this added during and update?
Great video; thanks! New to Cricut and plan to buy a Joy just for labeling and organizing my home. This was helpful.
P.S. Since you asked, I like the glass, amber bottles better. 😉
Awesome! Thank you!
So helpful thank you so much!!
Glad it was helpful!
Does the cricut save the job? As in, I have a certain font and size for x amount of containers and I want to make more matching labels can I go back to a saved font and size?
Yes, you can save "projects"
Great video & ideas! Do you have a link for the small plastic boxes that you put the labels on? I looked on your Amazon store list and links and didn’t see them?
You can find them on amazon or michales, look for photo organizers
Thanks Sophie
Thank you so much!
Hi Sophie, thank you so much for this video. I have ordered a Maker today and hope to have chosen the right machine.I am happy to start my "labelling everything" process very soon
Yay!! You will love it!!
Can u plz tell us name of font for the first craft soaps etc...
Is it possible to use a normal iron ? Thank you
Totally!
I love these labels, and I want to buy a Cricut Joy, where did you get those little boxes that you put your essential oils in. They fit perfectly in that.
You can find them on amazon or michales, look for photo organizers
how do you have so many text options? I have like a handful and all I want is Arial.
You can upload texts that you have downloaded online or pay for additional fonts in the app!
Thank you for sharing your ideas!🌹
This looked so easy!
What app do you use for your cricket?
Two questions: can you use a regular iron? Also why did you choose "purple" for the glitter paper? Thanks so much !
Totally makes sense!

How do I choose a font I can only get what text box does
I dont know what is wring with mine but i wont allow me to draw on the label its making me do it seperate work😢
It is a bit of a two part process, first it cuts, then it draws
Cool. Thank you!
You bet!
where did you get the arial rounded font? Its not on my design space?
It will be in your system fonts
I believe it was rounded arial
Love the white bottles and the uniformity where did you get the bottles? I'd love to get some
Just linked them in the description! Didn't realize that link wasn't there!
Where did you get your shampoo bottles
Linked in the description box!
Love it. Where did you did the black label that you used with the fabric box? I have some large plastic bins that those would be awesome for.
All of the products are from the cricut brand!
They are calked bin labels. Amazon has them
I wish I could do this SIMPLE thing with MY new joy.
Can I ask what fonts you used
Ariel rounded is one of my basic favorites
Love it! So are you able to reuse the sort of "half-piece" of sparkly iron-on that you cut skating out of? Or does only a full width sheet work?
Yes you can! I use little scraps all the time!
Tried to use the links to order a Cricut but it says "currently unavailable". Did I find this video too late? Wanted to order it under your TH-cam because I really like all your videos.
Thank you❤
Hey can i make prints for a tshirt or bag on this joy?
Yes you can!
In the Cricut app, where did you go to get to the labels (the second project that you did with the photo bins)
You can just use the search feature and type in whatever you are looking for!
Love your nails! ♥️
Glad you like them!
is there a way to not waste so much vinyl?
Where can I find the white bottles?
Just linked them in the description box!
I have been so intimidated by this machine. I’ve watched so many videos that are way over my head. The creators go so fast, I just move on.
Not only thank you for this video, but thank you for acknowledging, respecting and encouraging those who just haven’t made the click yet!❤
Why can’t you use a regular iron?
Of course, glad you found it helpful! You can use a regular iron if you desire,! I prefer the cricut one because of its settings and if you get the larger one it has a built in timer and can cover the full surface of something like a t-shirt!
Awesome!!! 🤩
Thanks! 😁
I was so excited for this video! I’ve had my cricut joy for around a month now and am loving it! I make cards on mine and of course labels. The silver iron on is beautiful though, I might have to try that next, it’s so addictive! 😄💕
Wonderful! I need to get more into making cards with mine!
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Tell me the price cricut joy I am in karachi Pakistan what will be the price to come here
It is currently $169 USD
Your video was great. But the "bluetooth only" function makes it worthless if power or internet go down. 😥
Yes, you do need to have power for any of the cricut machines to run, but hopefully that is few and far between that power goes out for you!!
I like the amber, but the plastic is smarter!
I totally get that, my husband agrees with you!
Thanks so much. I just dont know how you copied the basic label for your bottles
On the bottom menu if you select and object you can select copy!
I had no clue that the machine was magnetic and would hold the blade!
yes!
Vary nice
Thanks
Why didn't you use transfer paper? It would have made it so much easier to attach. Just a suggestion. I don't have my cricut joy yet.
I usually use it for vinyl but didnt for this project
You did not teach us how to make the labels in the software.
Another cheat so you don’t have to line up the 2nd piece(boarder) of the labels is to use transfer tape. :)
smart smart!
