    You are officially one of my top go to people for projects! I have been so challenged learning the Cricut, to the point of crying, because I can’t “get something”. It is such a defeating feeling and I can’t stand it. You explain things in such detail, I almost smack my head, when I do get it! Thank you so much for being here. You are truly a blessing and I look forward to mastering my machine as I continue to learn. THANK YOU!❤

    Hello! I am finally starting to watch more of your tutorials, and I truly appreciate them. I have a question regarding the type of printer you use for Print Then Cut. It seems an ink jet printer is the primary printer used for these projects. I have a laser printer. The package of sticker paper you used said it was good for both types of printers…would there be a reason not to use a laser printer? Are ink jet printers better for color saturation, etc.? Just curious. Thank you! Cannot wait to get into more projects.

    • @JenniferMaker

      You should be fine with your laser printer. It's just most people use inkjet🥰

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe you are referring to these. We designed and made them on our 3D printer. We plan to share the print files on our blog at some point for anyone else who wants them. There are two styles -- the one uses PVC pipes, so it’s height adjustable to your needs. The other one is all 3D printed except for the table, which is a piece of wood screwed to the legs. Both meet the requirements in Cricut’s Safety Instructions for “a flat and stable surface” as the Cricuts are just sitting on stable tables.

    I have had my Cricut Maker for four years and my Cricut Joy for 3 and I have tried 14 different transfer tape and have never had my image transfer to the transfer tape. I have reached out to different people and tried the transfer tape they use because everyone on TH-cam make it look so easy, but nothing has worked so every time I have to Peel the image myself one letter or image at a time. I finally got so frustrated with this all and have put away my Cricuts and haven’t touched them in 2 years. Will be selling everything that I have because it has made me frustrated that I have cried many times and rubbed the image so hard to get it to stick that I have ripped through the transfer tape, so I am done with the whole Cricut products. But zi will continue to watch your videos and be sad that in all my time trying transfer tape it never ever worked as easy as you make it look. Sorry for venting but the frustration is real and so much money wasted.

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is different transfer tape for different vinyls. You do not use transfer tape with iron-on and there are so many projects to cut and make that is not vinyl. You would need to use strong grip vinyl for hard to stick vinyls like glitter vinyl. Don't give up. Here is a tutorial for you. jennifermaker.com/how-to-use-transfer-tape/

    • @lisabrijeski3425
      @lisabrijeski3425 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JenniferMaker I never even tried my iron on vinyl I was so frustrated I put it all away. And I don’t have glitter vinyl just the regular vinyl by cricut for my joy and never has the transfer tape worked. It is the vinyl that doesn’t need the sheet to stick it to. As I said I have purchased 14 different transfer tapes and nothing has worked. I was paying for Cricut which allows you to all the images and finally gave that up because ever time I had to peel the words or images off myself and hand place them. I thought it was just me that was having all this trouble that maybe my house was to cold but my sister in law hasn’t gotten her transfer tape to work either she has to peel it off and place it herself. So not sure what transfer tape that all you experts use but I haven’t been able to find any that work.

      @JD-72191 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@lisabrijeski3425 i have only had my Cricut a few days and I am learning so much watching these videos and then trying small projects one at a time. Nothing too difficult. I have used 2 different types of transfer tape and also tried a piece of regular clear tape and it all worked for me. I think the trick is to start with simple things and take your time. There is a learning curve but I think I will get better with more practice and time. I hope you don’t give up. Just keep trying. I can feel your frustration in that you have spent a lot of money and time trying to do these beautiful projects. Maybe an in-person Cricut class is the way to go. Not sure where those are but I bet there is someone close to your location that can walk you through the steps. I wish you the best and hope you find what you are looking for.
