    i have two that are 4 years old not you brand but same overseas manufacturer that work great good bang for your buck . but can you get the bolt on gear box kit that i see fitted to some unit's would make these rotisseries even better

      @RedlineStands  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right. The unit with the gearbox is the RTS3000, which is a substantially beefier rotisserie. Sadly we do not have any kind of conversion kit so the gearbox can be added to an existing rotisserie. Thanks!

    I'm looking at purchasing your Titan Lifts Automotive Rotisserie - 4500 lb. Capacity ROT-4500. I have a 1963 Impala CONVERTIBLE. Body and floors are solid. I just want to spin it so I can sand, seal, and Raptor Liner the underbody. Do you think I wil have to put an endoskeleton even though I'm not replacing any panels?

      @RedlineStands  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mandatory? No. With that said, I do recommend fabricating a very beefy set of door braces to connect the upper hinge mount to the door striker mount. If you do not do this, you will surely regret it tenfold. I say this because I was recently in a professional restoration shop that was doing a convertible, and that's how they did it. For this one, don't buy door braces that have joints. Fab them, and make them very....very solid.

    Those welds look sloppy and then covered up. Will they hold? sure most likely but not very nice looking.

      Fair enough. The welds are solid but not pretty. We sell the autotwirler pro for over $2k and the welds are gorgeous, so we have other options

    This is NOT a Beefy Machine!

      If you want beefy, check out the ROT3K in my link below. It weighs a lot more than the ROT-4500

    Hi. I just purchased this unit for our shop based on your video. You need to take a serious look at your quality control. Welds are very poor and fitment is also poor. We had to manufacture and weld our own improvements to make the unit reliable. The instructions are so small we needed a magnifying glass to read them. The jacks are tooooo slow takes forever to lift
    Great concept poor execution
    Would return if I could fit it back in box.

    • @RedlineStands
      @RedlineStands  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Copy. So, this unit is manufactured by Titan, not Redline, and please understand when you see our video and tell us about our quality control, it's not "our" quality control. Assuming you bought the Titan rotisserie from Redline, please send us pictures to substantiate the poor quality. We'll get with Titan and see what can be done to make it right. With that said, we haven't sold one of these in a few weeks, so I suspect maybe you bought it from our competitor and are voicing your quality concerns with people from whom you did not buy the product? Still, we're happy to help you either way, but we won't have the ability to look-up your order unless you bought it from Redline. The last thing I want to say to anyone who reads this is this. If you want a high quality rotisserie, please don't shop for the least expensive models. We sell the AutoTwirler Pro. It's American made and it costs about double the Titan. The quality is much higher, and it should be, because you get what you pay for, and there's a reason it's expensive. So, please understand that these entry level units with entry level prices will get the job done, but they're not the AutoTwirler Pro. I hope this helps. Reach out to us at RedlineStands.com and we'll help you any way we can.

      @@RedlineStands Thanks for your reply. Yes my comments are to Titan not to your company. I purchased the unit from Mile x equipment not you but your video is misleading to consumers like myself and that is why I commented. The machining and welding on this unit are poor. The holes drilled for the adjustment screws are off. The extention sleeves fit on one side but not the other. This was my experience with the unit and its important consumers know. Again your company is just selling a Titan product and has nothing to do with this issue. Just for public information on Titan products not Redline. Thanks

    Simple because it has the TITAN name on it, its a failure!!! That thing will most likely drop my car... Have to go with a better name brand....
    I would always be thinking of the Titantic in the back of my head.... Oh well...

      It's worth mentioning that the Titan rotisserie and the Redline ROT3000LD are the same unit made at the same factory, just labeled differently. In the video below, we tested it to 4,410 lbs. It didn't like it, but it held it. th-cam.com/video/HWAODKILw0o/w-d-xo.html
