    For us non-HVAC folks, you can also use the 32303 14-in-1 adjustable length driver set the same way with the 7-in-1 nut driver set. A very cool way to save carry bag space and have everything handy.

    Klein sells the long and short shaft together in a pack at Home Depot for the flip sockets (comes with the 1/4-5/16 on both) that fits the stubby, as well which gives you 3 lengths in the stubby.
    It's only been out 4-6 months though

    I got the 8 in 1 hvac and find the 1/4 and 5/16 nut driver slide too bulky. Ends up not fitting in tight spots so i ended up going back to the 11 in 1 and using the shrader bit from the 8 in 1. Klein actually sells an 11 in 1 with the shrader out of the box.

    Never been a fan of the HVAC specific drivers. Do you not always have a thermostat screwdriver with a core tool on you? No need to allow idiots to touch a shrader core with the ability to easily apply that much torque… Already have em on your core tools for quick evacuation and recovery as well lol

    • @ReliableHVACR
      @ReliableHVACR  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would lose em, better to have more than not any. Plus I rather have bits I'll actually use vs ones I wouldn't personally. I don't need all those square and torx bits

    • @codythompson9035
      @codythompson9035 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ReliableHVACR Not arguing that necessarily. Not pulling a shrader with that unless a system is flat though, otherwise you’d be using your core tool that I assume you have so at best it seems redundant. As to the other part I suppose it depends on what you work on. The Robertson is handy on rare occasion and the torx can be used on some boilers I’ve worked on.

    • @ReliableHVACR
      @ReliableHVACR  ปีที่แล้ว

    I quit buying expensive all in one screwdrivers. Mainly because if you loose a tip, you pretty much have to buy another all in one. So now I just buy the all in one from Harbor Freight. It’s good enough, and if you loose a tip, a new screwdrive4 is only a couple of bucks, and most of the time you can get a free one with a coupon.
