Thank you! I love that one, too - such an easy grower! Grateful for having received it from a FB friend. It looks very similar to my Optimara Trinidad II, but with fuller blooms.
You are very welcome! They help appreciate all the beautiful things the world has to offer, sharing their beauty with everyone around the world brings me so much joy!
Gorgeous healthy little bloomers! 💖 I now have the following on my wishlist: Zima Ulybaetsia, Amour Elite, and certainly Madame Pompadour - looks just like miniature peonies. I love it so and what a journey you have had together. Thank you. All the best. 🌸😊🙏🏼
I’ve been waiting patiently for this video. Thank you so much for yet another great video. I just love seeing your collection. Please keep them coming. ❤️
Wow everything is so nice👍. Came thru the move ok? More new babies.....I can see you've been busy here also. I now have 20 A.Violets all standard----what to try some leaf prop. I think I will try____ you have inspired me. Look forward to your new content. Have to have pen and paper before starting a new video. Later J
Thank you, great question! For names of African Violet hybrids in languages using non-Roman scripts, various romanization standards are used in various countries, romanization being the conversion of text from a different writing system to the Roman (Latin) script. As an archivist and a linguist, I could probably write a whole article about this, so I'll try to be brief :). As a result of using different romanization systems, the 1st word in the original, Russian-language name of this hybrid, following the hybridizer prefix LE-, "Седой", can be transliterated both ways, as "Sedoy" and "Sedoi" - depending on a local system and standard. In the U.S. bibliographic system, in particular, the ALA-LC (American Library Association - Library of Congress) standard is commonly used, according to this standard, the transliteration of the original name of this hybrid is 'LE-Sedoĭ Graf' or 'LE-Sedoi Graf'.
Super beautiful! Where do you get these from? I was lucky to randomly find what I believe is optimara Los Angeles on sale at Walmart for $5 and now knowing there are different kinds I want more 😭😭
Thank you! I get mine from various vendors, including Lyndon Lyon Greenhouses, Violet Barn, etc., and Optimara hybrids from the official distributor of Optimara in the U.S., Selective Gardener. Here is the unboxing video when I received the leaf of Optimara Los Angeles: th-cam.com/video/U3mpMvOJsRM/w-d-xo.html

As always, thanks for sharing the beauty with us! I'm confused about the Gray-haired Count. What was the note about 'Library of Congress'?
