@26:55 that is Gold. I have been chasing this idea forever in ACC. Comparing my lap time to aliens its the same pattern. They brake later, harder and get more results in braking, they trail brake more efficiently and manage to get the car rotated BEFORE the apex. So they get on the gas sooner. The result if 1.7 tenths quicker per turn, 3-5 seconds quicker per lap overall. I have tried everything and afraid I have just rooted too much muscle memory with ACC FFB. The equation of actions just does not add up to what you are describing. So I end up at least 1 car length past the apex before I can get on the gas again. This video really hammers this logic home.
I found when i brake more early it allows me to release the brakes more early and change up the driving style in that way, you have to be conscious about it though
Love your videos and lessons mate, I thought I already knew a lot of stuff, then you came in and showed me there's still so much to learn, thanks for your hard work! Cheers from Costa Rica!
This is pretty much where I'm at, I gained the understanding of the grip limits and how to get the rotation of the car with the 10-20% brakes you mentioned to control the weight of the car on the rear and stop it from overspinning to maintain optimal slip angle on all the tires. Almost feels unnatural Because I have to force my self to stop breaking for so long and get off the brakes earlier. This grip reservoir that you mentioned, I'm not sure about what that is representing, can't really wrap my head around it.
Ok, so getting on the right racing line with the right breaking point and the correct trailbraking to rotate the car and get it to point as u need it in a corner = perfect breaking, yet u claim it doesnt exist such a thing as perfect breaking? You're literally saying perfect breaking doesnt exist, then you explain how and why you get faster if you break perfectly?! Also, why is 3/4 of a video about "perfect breaking" talking about weight transfer of the car? I'd suggest that you rename the video to something like this: The basics of racing lines and weight transfer in a corner. If this is your understanding of how to teach simracing, you really shouldnt be selling stuff.. You're scamming people.
@@davidbeasley962 yea u know, not my problem that u dont get it and how this video isnt much about breaking, even tho the title implies that "you need to do this for perfect breaking"
Best explanation yet on how it’s done. Back to practicing……
Thank you mate!

Appreciate it man!
Let's get into the juicy stuff 😂
Love it.
Another amazing video mate.
Can't wait to try it all out.
Noice thanks mate
What an excellent teacher! Going to practice it 👍
Thanks for the comment!

Hey man yeah i can totally relate with learning the new habit on braking. And thanks for the feedback on the reservoir need to work on it more i guess
Great video 🎉❤
Thanks!
Best educational content in sim racing. Thanks for your effort mate. Cheers!
Thank you was a hard one to make
👍👍👍

Breaking and weight transfer are inextricably related, I'm not seeing your problem with this video. It's not a scam, is good advice for corner entry

Waffle, not explained well at all
Tired of European youtubers
😢, don't watch them then. Pretty simple concept
