I agree, and, if I ever visited, I don’t think I could stay there for the night! My dream countries are Iceland and Norway and Denmark and The Faroe Islands and The Netherlands and Sweden (but Germany and Luxembourgish and most of the US and most of the UK are also real cool) and the streets are clean and the air is fresh, and there’s mostly beautiful green nature and the buildings are usually very pretty (even the buildings that aren’t new tend to be real nice and definitely great for photography) with lots of modern new buildings too in bigger cities, plus I am learning the languages, and I am advanced level in Icelandic and Norwegian and upper advanced level in Dutch and upper intermediate level in Norse and German etc, so I am ready to be moved to Norway and Iceland and The Netherlands etc, despite the 🧊 cold weather! Normally I wouldn’t visit India or similar countries, maybe just visiting the mountain areas and the lakes that are the least visited for one day, then going to China or Japan for the night and renting a brand-new luxury building there or camping in a personal van or something like that! I mean, I think I would probably visit each country at least once, but definitely not the big cities when it comes to countries that have a lot of ppl, only smaller cities that are more relaxed and not hectic and without much traffic, and especially the greenest spots of each country, because I guess each country has some spots that are just green nature like mountains and hills and lakes or rivers or even seas etc, and those areas would also be great for photography, as I am also interested in nature photography, like I am interested in learning new languages, and in music etc! That being said, I would only visit countries if I had the possibility to do so, and if I was with someone that could take care of me and organize everything that knows about things like traveling and buildings etc, and if I had all the necessary equipment and constant Net (because I cannot go for one hour without Net) and a personal van or RV or something like that and anything else that I might need while traveling, because I wouldn’t want to be in a situation where I cannot find the right room or building and not be able to get any other things that I may need the way I need them, so I could not visit anywhere on my own, or at the moment due to the situation that isn’t a favorable one, but hopefully I will have the possibility to travel the way I want to in the near future, after all, I can technically learn languages and new words on my iPad while traveling as well, so I could still learn my target languages while traveling in the near future, because right now language learning is my favorite hobby, so I wouldn’t want to not be learning my target languages for a longer period of time and just travel, so I would definitely still learn new words and new languages while traveling if I were to travel in the future!
I am indian and somehow got a well paying job compared to Indian standards. So i only travel when i m able to afford at least a 3 star hotel. But even a 3star hotel can scam, which happened to me in Goa. So when in India always be careful, avoid cheap hotels, cause not only they might scam you but they'll treat you harshly and ruin your mood to travel.
I live in Chennai and have visited Delhi many times. In my experience, safety in Delhi is a major concern. But it’s not just that-the pollution and dense crowds are also challenging to cope with. I’ve been scammed many times there, and it feels like Delhi is not just the capital of India, but the scam capital as well. What’s even more shocking is that the local cops seem aware of what’s going on but remain oblivious, allowing scammers to operate without any concern. When comparing Chennai and Delhi, Chennai is much better overall. The only issue in Chennai is the weather, which is hot and humid throughout the year. In Delhi, the climate varies, with very hot summers and colder winters. However, when it comes to scams, safety, and pollution, Chennai is definitely much better than Delhi

That Hotel Manager should have given you a Room in the Hotel when you had given him your Identity Card like Passport etc. He said about AADHAAR Card. AADHAAR Card is an Identity Card for Indians wherein their biometrics like their 10 Finger Prints, their eyes, , nose and face are identified. For Foreign Customers, they can take their Passport Photo or any other Identity Card and give them a Room. After a long discussion, I ended up paying around Rs 400 extra. The room was very different from the one shown on the website, with no windows at all. Obviously outside food was not allowed, they want to make money by selling you something from their own restaurant. Checkout: I decided to extend my stay and went to the counter around 5 minutes before checkout and asked him to extend it. He replied that now I have to pay an offline price which is around Rs 600 over the amount I had paid the previous day. I told him to not extend the stay, for which he asked me to pay a late checkout fee of Rs 1200 for being late by 10 minutes. This is obviously apart from their hostile behaviour and poor attitude the whole time, which really makes your stay a punishment.
@@NoName-yn9bt Another one is hotel in Noida, for which I had paid approx Rs 1300 before reaching there through Agoda. On reaching, I was informed that the guy was not aware of such a price and the real cost would be over Rs 2000. I called Agoda for the same who did nothing. We finally settled on Rs 1800. At the same there was another guy who had booked a room on the same hotel for Rs 500 through another app and was going through the same ordeal. This goes on to show how these hotels use predatory pricing to get you there and ask for a higher price. There is obviously no real regulation on these hotels and the are generally owned by the influential people of that area and are hands in gloves with the local administration.

I don't like India after all see online
You can't because your parents taught you from childhood like this
Even as an Indian I will never dare to book these cheap places . Not saying cheap should be shady but when you book online look at the reviews and go for at least 3 star if you can afford . Or go for established backpacker hostels which can be cheap . Its an established fact that if you come to the hotel direct the prices are always going to be higher than the online ones even in case of luxury 5 start properties . The room was very different from the one shown on the website, with no windows at all. Obviously outside food was not allowed, they want to make money by selling you something from their own restaurant.

At the same there was another guy who had booked a room on the same hotel for Rs 500 through another app and was going through the same ordeal.
