I replaced the two blend motors behind the HVAC unit on my 2016 odyssey. Lift up the unit from the bottom enough So you can move it forward towards you just enough to get your hands behind the unit to unscrew the old one off and put the new one back in. There are two blend motors on the back.

did you replace the actuators by just removing the cover without disconnecting the lines?

@@billmercurio3822 you need to remove all the rear trunk panel, then remove the passenger side panel. You can leave the rear heater core and line connected as is. You can see the line running into the HVAC. You must discharge all the AC Freon in the engine bay because you must disconnect AC line that runs into the HVAC which holds a small AC condenser. There is one bolt that you need to disconnect from outside under the passenger wheel well. Once that AC line is disconnected, you can go inside the trunk and pull the HVAC away from the wall to get to that two modules. Note. If the AC line is not disconnected, you will not be able to move the HVAC forward from the wall.
