since you already have PV panels, I would suggest installing a heat pump for heating up your pool. This way you can maximize your solar footprint on your roof. Also get a veriable speed pool pump so you can save energy. Most of the time you only need 1200 - 1500 RPM to circulate your pool water.

Thank you Mr Julius for the sharing the info. And thank you for the trust in our system. Just some additional info.Out of 365 days in a year, one will probably get 310 to 320 days of free heated pool, depende sa location sa Pilipinas. The rest if umulan or may continuous rainy days ay not as much heat ang makukuha. The heated pool stays until the next day specially if meron pool insulation. Im sure many people will benefit from the information shared.

Sir kung existing pool pump ang ginagamit para i-akyat ang tubig sa bubong, I suggest check nyo pressure ng filter kung naka filter mode at kung ang abiso sa inyo ay naka circulate / bypass ang filter habang nagpapa init kailangan nyo malaman kung ano TDH ng pump for safety reason. If you want pwede nyo avail pool inspection service namin para lang makasigurado na maayos ang setup.

I had pool water solar back then 2001. Unfortunately electric power solar was expensive during that time. However having solar power can do all heating and power your pool pump and others.

Julius, why not hook up the solar pvc pipe return to “ return pipe from filtration to pool”. Deck must always cleared from any tripping accident. Good luck brother.

Actually yung boiler function as primary heater to speed up warming of your swimming pool which is feed by Gasul, the thing is you should have secondary warmer heater in the form of Heat Pump to maintain warm but with energy efficient use of electricity. Your solar heater can function as your secondary warmer but limited due to weather conditions.

Yung pool ng employer ko solar heated ang pool Pero pag winter it does not work kaya dinidi winterize then pag spring na ikakabit yun solar…pag sobranf mainit Super init din yun pool dahil me cover yung pool…hindi rin pwedeng mag swim pag sobrang init..tumataas ang blood pressure ..e yun laki ng pool ay 1/3 ng olimpic pool…at ang deepest ay 10 feet..

Pag malakas ang araw mas iinit pa yan…..yun s mployer ko isa lang ang tubo na nilalabasan ..pero hindi naka usli ang Tube..naka cutombuilt sa pool…..madaling iinit yan dahil hindi malalim…un dito mahaba na malawak pa..kaya pwedeng mag lap swim….tinangal na yung diving board dahil matanda na c madam…94 pro nag swiswimming eveyday for 30 minutes nontop at nagdadrive pa..

the thing is... during rainy season.. no sun light at all and your pool is all the more cooler.. my best suggestion is to go solar and wind power source.. air most of the time works almost 24hrs unlike solar panel which has limited time to recharge your batteries. combination of these power sources will always be preferable than choosing one source.

Eh kasi po malamig ang panahon ngayon kaya malamig pero sa summer po super init na ng panahon at no need na ng warm water at hindi na kayo giginawin kahit sa gabi kayo mag swimming. Ganun lang po yun.

Shifting to renewable energy is great! But the option you took is not economical po. Using Grid-tied solar PV system and applying for net metering mas magagamit mo po ang wide space ng bubong, not only for pool heating but also for your electrical loads. Solar PV system also works even if it is rainy or cloudy po, if not used for pool heating, pweding gamitin sa Aircon or you can sell excess energy back to meralco and earn credits for out of sun-hour use. Nasasayangan po ako sa bubong nyo😇 I myself actually do grid-tied solar PV systems. A 600k peso worth of grid tied solar PV system can generate average of 66kwhrs ped day" that is 660peso worth of free electricity per day if "self used" and 330peso worth of "free meralco use" if sold grid.

Using pv to run an electric heater is not as easy. 1. Mas mahal ang pv.
2. U need a very large PV to run the heater. Sa laki ng pool nya u need about 20kw minimum. Not to mention to buy an electric heater. It's doable but more expensive.
3. Hindi rin gagana and pv pag walang araw. Same as solar pool heater.
Sa heating. Solar heater is the best for heating. Solar heater is about 70% un kanyang efficiency vs nasa 22% un sa pv.
4. Just imagine this if u use solar Pv.
U need to change solar light into electricity. Then electricity to heat energy. Madami process. Evert process will have some loss too.

Boss julius..konting kaalaman lang. Buti hindi sumabog ang LPG mo. Kasi nakita m sa vlog m ang regulator mo hindi 1st stage regulator. Meaning d kaya iwithstand ang tank pressure kasi ang inlet pressure ng regulator mo ay 10psi lang. Dapat 1st stage low pressure regulator. May gauge ka naman makikita m pressure ng lpg mo. Nasa 80psi pag bago. Salamat. Stay safe po.
