I was in Charlotte just before Covid. I stayed at Hotels near Sardis Road. Hotels options are good near that. Must try Mariott by Fairfield. That is good option for family. But I must say Charlotte is expensive for Indian food compare to other states in the US.

I got two doses of Moderna vaccines in USA. I live in Toronto. I submitted the CDC card with the vaccination details to Health Canada and within a week I got my vaccination registered with Health Canada . Now I go to the gym and also restaurants. No problem at all. Maybe you should talk to someone senior in Health Canada. Last week my son got his Pfizer booster dose in Sri Lanka, he send the details to Health Canada and he has got it registered in his health certificate. Very sad that you did not get yours. Please update me if you get it.

Most countries and pharmacies give vaccination record by QR code and data is stored on server so can be easily verified
Hey Ravish.. we also took our vaccines in USA n then got certificates from Canada govt with QR code.. so basically our first 2 shots were in the us n then we moved to Canada n took our booster shot in Canada .. you might want to try again n get your certificate in Canada

Not sure which pharmacy you got the Covid shot in US but CVS, Walgreens and Walmart do have the feature that lets you download your Covid shot records. Did you try going to their website and searching for it ?
walgreens, and they don't have my records online, that's another issue 😡 they are looking into it.

agreed, but more energy doesn't necessarily mean bad for environment. there are a lot of ways to generate environment friendly energy. but single use plastic is alway bad for environment, it takes 100 years or more to decompose.
@Ravish Vlogs I would agree with the decomposition logic. But, as an engineer, I am a big proponent of gathering all plastic and using it as fuel for power generation, sorting and recycling of plastic is never cost effective.

I have kept a travel wifi adapter with me… When I go to hotels I connect that to wifi and thus don’t have to connect every device to hotel wifi. And the travel adapter has this setting to circumvent the hotel screen.
I think you should keep 1 considering number of gadgets you travel with
I have one from RavPower, but it's throughput is not great, we literally have around 10 devices to connect and this portable one doesn't cut it. but next time I will bring my Dlink one...

Can you use your laptop as a hotspot for apple tv?
when laptop is connected to internet via wifi, you can't redistribute your wifi over wifi, you can do over ethernet but you have to keep laptop ON all the time for it to work. Apple tv should work with or without laptop being ON

we didn't get a test, as it is not needed on road travel.

BC accepted my US doses. They had trouble with my cdc card (because my name was not clearly visible) but accepted Washington state’s qr code screenshot. See if you can get a qr code from the state you got vaccination in.
yes that's my plan, going to contact Rhode Island health department
Hi Ravish, You may have already sent in your vaccination details that you have on the CDC card to your county's health center in Ontario. They will send an email through that your QR code will be generated. We got it in less than 15 minutes but your health center should have your vaccination details.
All this was done through a phone call.
its the same system everywhere. UK does not recognize vaccines taken outside UK.

Usually each state in the US has an immunization registry. So you have to fill out an application (from the state you received your dose) and along with Id proof you should be able to get a vaccination record history from the state. My guess is that this record should be easily accepted in Canada.

Amrmrikaa was founded on whiskey and guns. Just dont forget to buy a gun when you buy a home. I lived in Canada N US for over 25 years N US is the place to be at. Canada is good in its own way, but cold as freezer just a deal breaker. Carolians are good, but get treacherous rains n humidity. Try San Diego or Sacramanto. Phoenix is not bad, but too hot during summer. Dallas is growing and not bad either. Best of luck hunting. God Bless America!

Same thing happened to me. I got 2 doses in the US and booster in Canada. When I went to restaurant on Saturday but they didn’t let me in. After that I called Ontario health and they provided me with QR Code. Once I received that I went to the same restaurant and had dinner. I also got free desert 😁😆.
did you send them CDC cards? or enhanced cards? they denied me with CDC cards
@@RavishVlogs I sent them CDC cards 40 days ago and no response from them. So, i was carrying my CDC card with me to restaurant they didn't allow me. They said you will have to show your passport even though i showed them my Ontario Driving license and Health Card. They were very adamant about QR Code. Then my wife called Ontario health and gave my information online. They sent me email where i filled up my health Card number and date of birth. Within few minutes i was able to access certificate with QR code. It was very frustrating as we had to wait outside in cold weather. In addition to that, I told them that this is how you treat your residents in Ontario.

I got my second dose in Charlotte too… first one was in Vancouver… but i asked the CVS pharmacy to fill in the card which was given to me in Vancouver…. And uploaded the same card as proof of vaccination ( out of country proof) and it was accepted…. Dont know if this would work in ON.
ON doesn't have a card it has a proof of single dose and date. US has a card system. and ON didn't accept CDC card.
