These or the NC25 for someone who can't stand people talking and grunting at the gym? (which has better noise cancelling?) I don't play my music all the time and sometimes I'll just put earbuds in to try to drown out some of the noise.
Any input you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Tbh the ANC on these cancels good but not great. I'd say it blocks small noises, like electricity flow in the train and small ratling sounds, but you'll definetly hear noise if someone is grunting or talking next to you, albeit quite muffled. This is considering you're not playing music and only using them to block out sound. With music though, I'd say it does a good job where I cant hear what others are saying, even when next to me, so they're good gym headphones, especially for the price.

I can only stay in the same room as the device when using bluetooth, or else a shrill voice screams "Disconnected!" at me repeatedly and it goes all static. Is that normal? I wanted to wear them when cleaning my house but need to carry my laptop around to avoid disconnection.

Really odd. You must have some thicker walls or something that messes the signals. If I put my phone at the 1st level, I can technically do my cleaning from the second floor and basement no problem. I can technically even leave it in the basement and go to the 2nd floor, albeit here and there I get audio cutoffs. But the range has been decent in my experience

Very minimal sound leakage. Passed them to a friend in a library, and unless they sat next to me with music playing loudly (louder than what I'd casually listen), I couldnt hear them at all.
