    Would appreciate a video showing visual examples of how he ties his hair for combat sports instead

    I have really long hair and have been going through tons of videos.. I don't mind braiding but eh, needed to switch it up. Working on perfecting a rope/pipe braid in my own hair but think flat twists are the way I'm going to go. I didn't realize how many videos of similar hair styles there are for training so maybe one day I'll get some of these down well enough to shoot a video. For what it's worth, I'm super grateful you guys didn't cut your hair for it, way better to figure it out and still do what we love (like long hair motorcycle riders - which one is more challenging, BJJ or a helmet? 🤔)

    My dudes, I have been WAITING for this. I started my long hair journey maybe 6 months before starting jiu jitsu and your ties have held the top knot from day 1. 🙌🏻

    Can you guys show me how to tie your hair instead of talking? I have shoulder length hair and also a white belt. The hair has been a problem for me. Thank you. B

    so if you train 5 days a week how often wash hair?... after every session?.. if you train twice a day too... maybe wash after the morning sessions... so you look better during the day.. and then at night (after gym class) jsut rinse with water until the morning?.... what is best.. I need this advice for boxing..

    Anyone ever use head gear like a rugby scrum cap, swim cap, or hockey skull cap? Been growing my hair out for the last 2 years and just starting jiu jitsu. Thanks in advanced

    Guys, do you have any tips for a middle long hair that you can put in a bun ?

  • @fleshkeradventuresplus
    @fleshkeradventuresplus 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I’d say wear a ballerina bun! It would look a bit strange on a man, but I think it would be a good practical option that wouldn’t come undone.

    I've been looking for ways to tie your hair for combat sports for a couple of years now. I have a long thick hair, all the way to the belt, and feels like nothing works. Even the girls giving tips for long hair have shorter and thinner hair. And feels like the tricks work for someone who doesn't do judo. Because there's a lot of somersaults, rolling, gripping. Braid swings and hits you and the others in the face like a mace, a bun will be huge and if it's on top it feels terrible when rolling and come undone and if it's low, it'll be in the way of hands. Braided bun will be very dense and uncomfortable to roll over. My best attempts have been like a normal bun in the neck and just trying to make it really tight.
    So I'll be cutting it shoulder length because I'm just over trying to play around the hair. I'll have to tie it not to choke on it and rolling over it during the night is ass, doing judo or wearing a beanie in the winter it'll just be in the way if it's as long as mine. Like I consider shoulder length hair quite a short hair now.

    After Kickboxing i almost directly jump under the shower and i do sometimes dont use any shampoo that time. Too much soap/shampoo is not good for the skin. Mrsa maybe be more careful with wounds on the head? Although at the moment i almost use shampoo everyday after training because i train everyday but i might do it less for the skin. Maybe 1 training ill shower with shampoo. The other one i shower with only water. But also doing Kickboxing more at the moment. Do you guys also have advice on that short hair but its just too much to keep out of eye sight? I am using a nike headbans for this but its not ideal. Especially with clinching or so it will move all the way. Maybe more wide headbands better? Or those plastic headband things with those comb teeth? Although seems not so nice when getting hit. I dunno yet

    Tip for long hair in combat sports: Cut it off or get smashed. Please find one video of someone with long hair in mma where the hair doesn't put the fighter at a disadvantage.

      Get a grip. If it’s not a problem for women, then it’s not a problem for men either.

    • @fleshkeradventuresplus
      @fleshkeradventuresplus 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s rubbish, there’s plenty of long haired fighters that don’t face those problems.

      @@fleshkeradventuresplus like i said post a video of a long hair fighter that doesnt have an issue. can you do it?

    • @fleshkeradventuresplus
      @fleshkeradventuresplus 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DarkTideOffroadI don’t need to, because if you have watched videos of MMA women fighting, they don’t get their hair pulled, and you can safely assume that the same applies to men, besides, hair pulling is against the rules.

    • @DarkTideOffroad
      @DarkTideOffroad 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@fleshkeradventuresplus nah bro. its not hair pulling that pulls it out. its getting punched hard and arms going around back of head... it happens. girls dont hit hard enough lollll. watch girl fights they cant even hurt each other.
