Strutmasters should pay you guys to do their installation instructions! Bought new front struts and they sent me instructions for a 2003 with front air suspension. Thanks for posting this!
I thought this video was just awesome, and totally entertaining … watch it, see what the final method was, then do what he did the right way. Loved it, best one I've seen yet, and laughed my ass off watching. That's what I get for watching the gypsies in Newark do body work as a kid :)
Gotta watch out for that brake line..... that's alot of weight.... not the right way.... You want to be on the safe..... Take your whole brake Assembly off then your ball joint:)
No support! He just lets it fall and hang with all that weight on those lines. I would never let him or anyone in that garage work on anything of mine.
He said let's do it the easy way . If you just did correct the first time you could got it out in 2 mins instead lol typical Mexican always trying to take the short cut. Carlos said it took me 15 mins No buddy it was more like 5 min , Carlos was Shock.. hahaha Yes Carlos make easier for you next time remember work smarter not harder lol I'll love to stop by and pick on Carlos he seem like a chill hard working man
Typically on flat rate the cost replace a strut (remove and compress springs etc) usually pays a mechanic for one hours worth of work. So $100 in labor plus parts. So 300-500 in labor really isn't bad for this replacement

might of been actually 15min cuz he also unscrewed the top screws on mount strut,wich wasnt included in video.

Use a spring compressor you inbred god almighty it was painfull to watch its a wonder he didnt tear the break lines and the drive shaft boot
