The Rock hit John Cena a Rock Bottom and the Miz was able to pin John Cena and retain his championship at Mania 27. Though the following night on Raw, WWE announced the first Match of Wrestlemania 28 which was John Cena vs The Rock. The Miz, was basically an afterthought in his own championship match at Wrestlemania 27.

I am amazed and shocked that Wrestlemania 7 didn't make the list in any form at all. The Gulf War was going on and there was concerns over potential threats to the wrestlers because of Sgt. Slaughter being an anti-American bad guy at the time, so they moved the event to a much smaller venue. So, this year's Wrestlemania wasn't the first time they had to move the event from a larger venue to a smaller one, and it was definitely done for the greater good.

Oh I remember mania 16 as it was the first mania I watched and it left a bad taste in my mouth plus the bret the hitman hart vs Vince McMahon match at mania 26 wasn't the worst match at mania bam bam Bigelow vs Lawrence Taylor at mania 11 tops it by far followed by the cat and teri runnels at mania 16 with val venis as a special guest referee it has over the years held up really really badly because venis comes across not as the sleezebag but more like painfully embarrassing plus don't even get me started on the hole hardcore title match that followed a year later
Anyone else think from now on Mania will always be a two night show? I think it makes the most sense to combat fans complaints about the run time, Takeover Friday and Mania on Saturday and Sunday seems like a much better plan moving forward

If WWE is smart, they announce that WM38 (2022) will take place in Tampa as a make good on the situation. Also, Taker planned to retire after 28 and the "End of an Era" match. Vince won't let him retire and Taker is too nice a guy to say no.
Luckily for last year's WrestleMania when we went we tailgated. Got there early and had our means of transportation. I heard people paid upwards of $300 and surcharges for Uber and Lyft. Not including the price to get back to the city if that's where they were staying.
I hate this fact their main poster has 1 superstar who is not in show, one is part timer, one is challenging for NXT division ..no wonder most of superstars wanna leave
