    Those TC are some of the nicest all around vehicles ever made. I personally have owned a bunch of Town Cars. One of my favorites was the 2004 Ultimate. I don’t like any of the chrome pieces..the wheels, trim pieces etc..I got rid of the chrome on mine and it looked great. But these things will run a very long time and are reliable, safe and comfortable.
    Nice video, nice car!

      @@EnthusiastCarHangar I will check out the TC playlist for sure. I think it was only two years..2003/2004..I could be wrong but, the steering wheel on my 04 had wood on the top and the bottom. I really liked how it looked and felt. It gave the wheel an aesthetic and functional symmetry. All of them are winners though. One of the nicest vehicles ever made imho.

    One thing I love about this car is how good they are on gas for a big car 20 miles to the gallon is awesome and an expressway it feels as if the gas gauge is stuck when I had mine cuz I did a lot of highway miles I may have spent 60 bucks a week on gas fill up one time I use Expressway all the time had no real issues as long as you change the oil in that car it's a okay and this is what I had a 96 Town Car Cartier car we currently have an 03 Town Car Cartier

    The tapering of the body sides to a narrower rear end pushed the back seat foward and reduced knee room. Likewise, the trunk of the TC is actually smaller than Grand Marquis and Crown Victoria because the tapering continues all the way back. Same floor pan for the trunk but the upper half is noticably narrower. This car is a sleeker version of the Grand Marquis. After 1997 I prefer the Grand Marquis. My tastes are definitely old school.

    The only thing I can say about that is the back seat thing is because well you got your seat with climbed back kind of far if your seat wasn't back that far it would be easier for whoever's back there and how tall are you are you over 6'3 that makes a difference they will never make big cars like they used to my father is 6'1 we have a town car he has no problem getting back there cuz he don't overdrives he sits in the back seat and Crosses his legs in a signature series but if I lean a sink back it's going to be awkward for whoever sits back there

    I'm agree with your first 4 opinions these are very nice cars not perfect. Real wood would be premium but I think would raise the price too much, the original buyers seem to have been OK with the cheap interior.

      @EnthusiastCarHangar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree it also goes over the price. Most of the original buyers may not have wanted to pay more. Maybe they could have equipped the top trim with different leather and wood. Some night have wanted to pay for that.

    I love the Town Cars. I thought you could get rain sensing wipers on these. There are several videos of them working on this generation of TC's. I don't mind the aero nose rigs. I think the 2003-11 look better than the 98-02s but I think the 95-97s Town Cars were the best of the best. They were slower than the newer ones but I think the cars were just made with better quality. I think the materials were nicer to the touch and they looked better both inside and outside. It also definitely has better leg room front and back and the 2003's. Just my opinion though

      I think they had the rain sensing wipers for a short while only. If I remember right it was in 2003. Maybe the Cartier had them longer after that. But it’s a rare feature on the Town Car. I like the 95 to 97 Town Cars as well. Thanks for watching.

    I’m with you on the wheels, it personally think it’s because the pockets (where you showed the peeling) is not finished smooth. The facing and spokes are smooth but not the pockets. To me it makes the wheel look unfinished, with a textured finish like that it’s not easy for the chrome to adhere. BTW I have the same on my TC Continental and are perfect but don’t know for how long. I May have the chrome stripped, smooth out the pockets and either re-chrome or polish and clear coat, maybe something to look into if you like them enough.

      @@EnthusiastCarHangar Nothing broke down. That is why he never answered you. Why somebody would compare a Camry to a TC is like comparing a steak to a hamburger. "Well the steak was so expensive I was lucky they sold hamburger because it was cheaper". My Spark holds 8 gallons of gas and gets better gas milage than your Camry. It's a manual too so it will easily go 250,000 miles. I am buying a 2010 TC on Wednesday. 49,000 miles and mint condition 1 owner, always garaged and driven everyday an average of 3600 miles per year. Light French Silk Metallic. I just missed out on a 2007 with 51,000 miles that was True Blue Metallic. One of the nicest colors ever IMHO.
      The TC weighs 4400 pounds and does 0-60 in 8.5 seconds. I had a 1985 Saab turbo that was quick enough for me. It weighed 2800 pounds and did 0-60 in 9.1 seconds. My 1995 Regal GS does 9.0. The TC is fast.

      @EnthusiastCarHangar  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Depends on a few factors. As I stated I talk about the non L version which has less legroom. I have known some airport transfer Town Cars that were the L version. Also I always noticed the drivers had the passenger seat all the way up front and the drivers seat back straight and further to the front for rear passenger comfort. Have you experienced this also? It also depends on your legs and how tall you are. I showed you how I don’t have that much legroom if I would sit behind myself in my Town Car while in other vehicles I can. That’s all there is to say. Not funny but simple explanations. 😉
