Man you guys are awesome! I've really enjoyed watching you raise your boy into a man using traditional archery and showing such fine skill! You guys are great!
The video is very nice, I like it a lot, especially because you answer the questions about the material used in that hunt, such as the bow, arrow weight, tip, you set the shooting distances, etc., they are things that are instructive and useful to us. the other hunters with traditional bows. @gunshyarchery oh interesting. It makes sense, but I hadn't expected so much blood, at almost each step. I also though that Bison might be similar to bear. Thick fat reserves and long fur might reduce the blood trail. Great video. Thank you

No disrespect but you should try a real, open natural truly wild Bison hunt, Alberta government, of Canada offers tags for their northern bison that were moved there from the lower province a long time ago. They opened this to preserve the last true wild woodland bison.
First time to see this channel. Not a great 1st impression. Dead camera batteries, gut shot. I know things happen, but also shooting at a target in the bed of the truck, that was hard to watch.
totally for ranch harvest hunts... people will get sticky on the word hunting for this type of kill. kinda like a soldier that says he was a combat soldier and never went near the front. some people think words matter. still i am for all live and let live people... just personal taste .... like using dogs for hunting...all i ask is call it harvesting and not hunting... they were baited to the brush to help you we all know it even though we couldn't see it
How much did you pay for permission to kill it? Was it worth it? Did you discover any difference between shooting a bison and a dairy cow? What would drive a person to want to do that? Recurve or super magnum rifle, anyone with enough money can buy that kind of "adventure." Seriously, why did you not only consider it, but actually kill the half-tame creature? Why? I've been a traditional bow hunter for 60 years, but it seems to me it would be a lot cheaper and just as challenging to find a stump that would hold still long enough to get shot. I for one, maybe the only one, who cannot admire your "hunt" and would be the first to condemn it. Also, please remember when you post something for the world to see, you gotta expect some responses like this. A lot of odd people out there; maybe I'm one.
Thanks for your response Michael. I try to answer all comments, good or bad. I find this comment not to be bad, nor good. But to answer your question of why would I shoot a half tame creature. And is it worth it.... Yes it is worth it if you like to shoot animals and eat them. If Costco would let me shoot my own chicken there I would do that as well. I like to shoot things and eat them. This is a perfect example of that. It is a meat hunt where I get to shoot my groceries. Outfitted hunts like these are just simply fun. Where else could I go and hunt a bison for the price one pays here, and pretty much be guaranteed a shot. And the reason I blew my shot is because it is still hunting, I was super excited and shit the bed on the shot. That is what you are paying for. The thrill not so much the meat. Meat like all of my videos is just Icing on the cake. The hunt is the fun part. Thanks for watching Michael. Mulie video and whitetail videos coming out soon, hope you check them out.
A responsible hunter starts searching for a wild animal that has been shot immediately. The search only ends when the wild animal has been found and killed - no breaks. This here is animal cruelty. 😢
@gunshyarchery With your shown behaviour - a break while the research - you would loose your hunting license immediately in Germany. And the regulations to get one in Germany are really hard. Different countries - different rules. We're not allowed to hunt with bows or crossbows.
@@jurgengruner6484 Exactly. Thank you for proving my point. Leaving an animal overnight from a poor shot is far from irresponsible. And sometimes you need to, regardless of weapon. If you, a gun hunter, shoot a deer in the guts, you should definitely give him time to expire. Going immediately will push him farther and you will never find him. That proves how backwards Germany is if that is the law over there... plus not allowing bows... completely backwards.
