To clarify on (and with the help of) the comments below: there are *three* tunes played here: Sullivan's Hollow, Julianne Johnson (the "coastal" one, that Rayna Gellert plays) at 1:47, and Belle of Lexington at 3:35.
beautiful..i saw both of these amazing musicians at the Northwest String Summit this past summer....determined to learn the fiddle by next years NWSS ;)
Brittany and Lauren, these are two amazing pieces! Sullivan’s Hollow is beautiful and complex and has many flavors and emotions that reach the ear. Five Miles from Town is indescribable; clearly in this piece, something outside of yourselves takes over. Such a wonderful experience to hear and watch.
My heart and mind are so relaxed right now.

Great, met Lauren Rioux at DelFest 2010 fantastic musician and can really rock a pair of barn boots!
Wow.
Brittany looks a bit stiff & serious in this clip, but she is G O O D, and was brilliant with Crooked Still.

what is the name of the first tune??
Sullivan's Hollow and 5 Miles from Town are the names of the tunes. Cheers.
never mind, just read the comments!! :)
Sullivan's Hollow
The second tune is not Five Miles from Town. It is Belles of Lexington from Emmett Lundy @zahller
The second tune is a version of Julianne Johnson I've heard Rayna Gellert do.
William Colledge Rayna calls that the 'coastal' Julianne Johnson. Very much Rayna's style. :)
No she doesn't
Everyones an expert......
