Back to Mumbai after epic Tarkarli ride and I get call from my friend KT who is part of YJOCI, I always wanted to buy one of these bikes but I never saved enough to go ahead and restore one.
Today after meeting these guys it feels great.
Ever bike is treated with so much respect and love, and everyone riding in this club has complete knowledge of what they are riding and how to fix it.
YJOCI meets every first Sunday of the month and they have one long distance tour every year.
The group strives to source parts as the company in India got shut down in 1996, The also encourage members to learn self servicing and maintenance of bike so the legend is passed on to next generation.
Apart from the gear lever converting into kick
all Yezdi and Jawa bikes come with 'semi automatic clutch'
which means we can just press the gear lever and change the gear without actually using the clutch

Am 21 years old and I own a ROADKING.. And i knw that feel of riding a yezdi.. Something that the new generation bikes cant give..

I have huge respect for people who still use these bikes . People who restores old bikes to premium condition and use it ! And i Love Yezdi .. Infact I wanted to own a second hand Roadking .. but my dad didn't think it's a cool idea so here I am ! 😅

Your video is awesome bro. I owe a Yamaha RX100 aged 27 years myself. It was my father's and now it's mine and I maintain the bike now. when I saw your video I loved it. Keep uploading such videos bcaz there are still lots of fans of these bikes.

I own a 1st hand yezdi classic 250 of my dad who still enjoys his ride on it in the weekends . I’m planning to get it repainted and nickel work done .

My dad won rallies on these bikes. I learnt to ride on a classic. I can kickstart these babies with my left leg, lol. Sold it for 2k back in 2001, will pick one Roadking real soon.

Similar story bro..😂 my dad has an yezdi 250 cl and he sold it for just 2k back in 2003 and that was a really bad decision..
Same story My dad sold it in scrap in 2004 for Rs 1800 yezdi Deluxe 250

I rode many hundreds of km on a yezdi 250 as a teen, most of the time pillion, my licence test I gave on this bike. Give 20 miles to the litre, petrol used to cost Rs. 7/ litre yet we only had money for 5 points, (500 ml)
