I love rural America and these communities. I really can't stand living in the city, I wouldn't be able to take living in New York or somethin, Colorado Springs is enough for me.
How Farms Work I couldn't agree more. Theres a little town called Green Mountain Falls, my grandparents own the first cabin ever built up there. I love the town, its so peaceful and quiet.
+ Stephen Babock I really hate seeing comments like that. I mean no disrespect but I live in NY way out in the country. The town has maybe 1,000 people. I'm 15 and trying to work on the dairy farm right down the road from me. And on the second to last day of the school year we have our annual "drive your tractor to school day" for FFA. I know everyone associates NY to NYC but especially Lake George, the Adirondacks where I go to hunting camp with my grandpa in the middle of he Adirondacks. There's so much more to NY than just the city
Forrest Colby I understand New York has a lot to it, being 20, I'm well aware. Yes I should've made it clear, but it was to get something across that many understand. I have many friends that live in rural New York. But at least you aren't being a complete ass about it. And I thank you for that, at least your parents raised you well unlike the many other shit heads in our country.
it's happens bud, that's one reason I can't stand big city life. Everyone is so ignorant to where things come from. And yeah, it really is a different world being raised on a farm, or on my case, being raised in a small mountain town and then working on a farm and coming from a family that's a strong Southern family.
You may have given others a hint about bringing their rigs in for a bit of a wash. I really want to see someone Armorall the 8235R. Eight tires may take all weekend.
I live right across the state from you. My high school usually hosts a drive your tractor to school day through the FFA. They didn't do it this year but I'm hoping next year I can bring my Oliver 1650 or Ford 8000 in.
we have done this with the fire trucks in my community lol nothing like pulling up in a 47 ft long ladder truck and asking if they want to wash it!! there is usually 4 of us on it so we all chip in 10 bucks each. great community service !!
Watching this and being from the area I knew some of the people washing it and I could even pick out a few buildings on your way there that I recognized too. I hope you still do this to some extent.
I saw u shifted without using the clutch between 1 n 2 or 3 n 4, really curious on why u can do that? did u ever have diff gear issues and is your fuel system turned up?
How Farms Work I am from Slovenia so we use dual for working in steep meadows for mowing, teddering, raking and then collecting with self loading. All implements are diffrent then normal, they are lighter, tractors, trailers, round balers are wider, lower and smaller then normal. We sometimes use "self going" mower like BCS 630ws and others.Douals are yoused in field where is very wet for ploughing, harrowing, planting corn,wheat...And they are yoused on older tractor in hops field in putting cord on main wires and then they are fixed in the ground and hops then grow on them.
Hi, Wow They looked excited and I don’t think there was an age range whom was not of some use even those that could almost walk under! That is going to be something they remember for ever!
That was a good thing, looks like a good community to grow up in
I like how everyone just stood and stared waiting to see if you were serious or not.
The kids look like farm kids themselves, they look like it's not a big deal..another tractor this is awesome. I love the country/rural America!

It's important to support your local community. Looks like they did a great job on it.
In 1975 I took my girlfriend to the prom in our 1973 J.D. 4230 with a Sound Guard cab,you should have seen the looks.
DesertDigger1 on my big green tractor
you are my idol
I suppose in '75 that was a new tractor! Close to it anyways
We took a tractor in one time and they thought we were kidding.... then they just sprayed it off and the old man gave them like 1,500$
When I was in high school couple times a yr all of us farm kids would fill the parking lot with tractors finally the principal declared tractor day
Good job!! Glad that you and Travis are supporting the community and who knows you might have even lit a fire in a future farmer. Hope so!

I've been to Colorado Springs and loved the mountains, but peace and quiet is nice.

That tiny little girl at 2:25 washing the tire is probably the cutest thing ever :D
That's great Ryan! We do the same thing when we're traveling with hay equipment in the summer
If I did that,my teacher would hate me 10 times more than she already does
If your teacher hates your guts, that's an achievement.
In my school alot of lads drive to school in tractors every day
Why
I would have loved to see their faces with that tractor rolling in. Hahahaha.
What ? No cheerleaders in bikinis? Awwww!!!!

It is good to support your local community. When i see those yellow rims i can't help it but... I like to paint match stick men in them.
Love the wee widgits getting as wet as the tractor!
I live right across the state from you. My high school usually hosts a drive your tractor to school day through the FFA. They didn't do it this year but I'm hoping next year I can bring my Oliver 1650 or Ford 8000 in.
probs the most expensive vehicle they cleaned, haha
k Greens nope
I wouldn't let them get swirl marks on a expensive car, sure i'd bring in a daily driver though.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing, I think paying a little extra for a good cause is always good .
Great video. Very uplifting.

So what is the point dually tires on your tractor

Can't get much more American than this.

For what do you need twin/double tires in rear axle?
Leon Habot More traction so more power is reaching the ground.

I have a feeling that's only the second time it's looked that nice. but when you bounce from project to project things get left behind
Hi,
