No video signal from display port work around

A work around for pc not displaying video caused by monitor sending power to the graphics card through displayport.
My solution- got an amazon basics 4k displayport cable and the problem went away.
Work around: Just unplug the displayport plug it back in then turn on the PC
Motherboard: MSI z370 Gaming PRO Carbon AC
PowerSupply: EVGA 1300 G2
GPU: EVGA GTX1080ti FTW3
CPU: Intel 8700k i7
RAM: Gskill 16GB 1 Dimm
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro TG PH-ES614PTG_BK
Monitor: Samsung LU28E590DS/ZA

I have new brought setup which has
Samsung 30' cf591
With
1050 ti GTX gigabyte
Mob is msi b360 pro vdh
The problem is before while I truned it on the graphics fan always moved and spin for a while and showing the display but one day I got this trouble I turned on pc then it automatically turn off then again turn on by itself immediately and graphics fan not spinning and no display produced , please help me I brought it new and this problem arise I'm on big troubles...help me please solve this problem

I can always get it to work eventually, but it keeps doing it after I go to use it the next day, such a pain in the ass, DisplayPort is such a crappy technology.

I downloaded some kind of DirectX driver to the computer after just opening it up and streaming for couple of hours. Then did a reset and now it literally doesn’t send HDMI signal to minute so I can’t see anything (but it does turn on)
I did the following:
1. Turned everything on and off
2. Off, unplug power and HDMI, wait 30 sec, replug and turn on
3. Tried to plug HDMI out of graphics card in back of PC INTO television, didn’t have signal.
4. Plugged PS4 Into Monitor I am using for this new PC, and PS4 instantly had signal. So it’s not the chord.
5. Tried diff HDMIs just in case.
I want to trouble shoot but CANNOT see screen so i have no options.
Should I buy Display Port (out of PC) to HDMIand see if I can Use something other than the HDMI out of the 2070 to trouble shoot with?
This is a real bummer.v sad. So grateful if anyone can help!! (MSI GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING X)

Cable might have 20th pin thos drawing power from the monitor get good cable and it will qork

Cant use adapters on these new graphics cards. So you have to buy a new wire. I did that but it still doesnt fix the problem.

If you’re ever in the situation again just make sure you have a surge protector because if you turn off the search protector with the switch it will turn everything off and then when you go to turn it back on it should work

Turns out the problem was the cable. Replaced with an amazon basics displayport and the problem is not there anymore.

You have a point with it being the cable my display port shows the same while the computer was powered on I switched the display to HDMI and the screen displayed
