Hi what is the season to try the oysters okonomayaki in Okayama?
This summer we're going to Okayama for a 1 day trip! What do you recommend to visit there? Thank you :)
Definitely hit up the castle! One of the most majestic Japanese castles I’ve seen! Also Kurashiki (Which is a little out of the way) but it’s a really cool traditional district of Okayama, kind of like Kyoto. Go early though cause the shops close at night!!
To add to @The Fomads also go to Korakuen Garden! It's right next to the castle and is one of the big 3 imperial gardens in Japan and is really a beautiful place.

No! Number 1 is definitely Horumonyaki / Yakiniku Horumon! Who doesn't love buttery, meaty grilled intestines?
Psha... Everybody knows you need to hit up Osaka to get that really good okonomiyaki.
Them fresh oysters though!
@@TheFomads Oh aye, everything looked really delicious! The only thing I kinda went "meh" at was the mochi. I never got into that stuff... Ramen though, now that's the good stuff.
