I lived in Toyama for 8 years and I can say with certainty it is one of the most (if not the most) beautiful prefecture(s) in Japan. I moved back to America 7 months ago and cried throughout the entire video. Thank you for sharing the charm and beauty of Toyama and Mt. Tateyama, one of Japan’s three holy mountains.

The thing I love most about the modern day Japan is how minimalistic and simple its country side citizens live their lives. It’s so amazing.
I have never been to Japan but am so fascinated by this nation, their place and the people.

I stayed in Ainokura Village during the winter of 2017. It was amazing. One of the best experience I had in my Japan trips.

I visited Kurobe Gorge in 2019. It was amazing, beautiful, and so calm. Can't wait to go back to Japan and visit more places.

Then you have to cry again, in around mid october to the end of november, the slope behind the Kurobe dam turned red, yellow and green.
And if you want to see what a 9 meter tall snow wall looks like, you have to come back in April.

Just overwhelmed by seeing the greenery, fogs in the mountains add with the quietness of the surroundings. Add to bucket list ✌️
Explored Kurobe Gorge and also visited Shirakawa Go with almost the same traditional houses with Ainokura during the autumn before I headed to Takayama for a day hike to Chubu Sangaku National Park. Main cities have lots of things to offer but it was the best decision I made during my trip to Japan to explore this part. These places are all so beautiful in person. Will definitely go back and add Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route to my itinerary.
