    I lived in Toyama for 8 years and I can say with certainty it is one of the most (if not the most) beautiful prefecture(s) in Japan. I moved back to America 7 months ago and cried throughout the entire video. Thank you for sharing the charm and beauty of Toyama and Mt. Tateyama, one of Japan’s three holy mountains.

    I stayed in Ainokura Village during the winter of 2017. It was amazing. One of the best experience I had in my Japan trips.

    Nice part of Japan. I spent a lot of time there on a project , way back in 2001 and 2002 . The snow road is amazing. They open the road at end of April or May. The snow is up to 20 meters deep.

      I preferred SHIRA KAWA Go village, rather than AinoKura ...In fact, I never saw AinoKura, but, I have seen some nice photos of ShiraKawaGo in the winter and have visited it with all the snow.. Just Google it. ShiraKawaGo is the biggest town.

    never forget the day I visited Kurobe in Toyama as well as kamikochi, Rebun island island, Tottori, Ehime, Kyushu, Yamagata...there are so many beautiful places in Japan.

    I lived in Fukui Hokuriku Japan for 10 yrs but now I’m in Tokyo. I have been in Toyama just once but never visited those in this vlogs. Your narration is superb it made me want to go back and visit Toyama again. Thanks for your wonderful vlog.

      鎌倉とか京都の様な観光地だとオーバーツーリズムで地元の人が通勤や買い物で使うような電車やバスを観光客が占領してしまい地元民が利用できないというような異常事態も起きているので政府は対策して欲しいですね。

    My retirement plan is to earn lots of money, learn Japanese, have enough money and just retire and travel all throughout japan even these remote areas.
    Edit : I've been to japan 3 times so far, my favourite country by far. I've only touched the popular areas, but these remote areas are what I really want to experience and I think you need to have a good command of japanese to survive!
