I watched a programme about this over 50 years back and all the children in the village raided a coat hanger and two biros. Some had less patience than others, some couldn’t be bothered, but it was so wonderful to see the reaction of the rods to the watercourse below. I have used them professionally for many years and they are extremely accurate, so much so that I found a buried car in my home village. To this day I have no clue why it works, but as this gentleman says, ask permission to find whatever you are seeking and invariably you will find it.
Pratically anyone can water divine with metal rods (think wire coat hangers and they don't have to be straight or symmetrical either just a L shape).. It's much harder with hazel twigs etc. Some people can tell how many gallons per mintue are flowing and the depth too but you would have to dig to find that out. Handy way to find where your water pipes are around your house or if a drain is leaking where it shouldn't. Famers used to use this method to find water for their herds . No one quite knows how it works though. It must be something to do with electrical currents and interruptions or similar. Its a fun trick and children pick it up fast.
Id be fairly skeptical until it happened to me with a bucket walking past a water trough. I was holding the bucket horizontal and it moved towards the trough.... [... handle is in this position. Didnt notice the first couple of times because I was feeding calves. But yip it actually happens. Anybody can do it.
The only person I knew who could water witch passed away a few yrs back & he never asked any questions, at least not out loud. I'd love to learn. Can it help you to find pipe fir water line's already established? We bought our property 6 yrs ago & learned we had 2 line's that use to be used for automatic livestock waterers that took them but never capped the end's & we've got "at least" 1 pipe that has a hole/split. I'd really like to find where it connects to the rest of the pipe so we can replace piece. I doubt that could help with that, could it? 😁🙏
Yes strictly speaking water witching or Dowsing can be done as seen in the video or with a y shaped diviner. You don't have to do anything other than hold the diviner with a gentle grip try. When over water the water diviner should drop slightly without any input from the person holding it.
It's not "spirit" energy. It's magnetic lines. Most people can divine but some can't *spell the difference between magic and magnetic.😂 I used to use it to find buried cables when I was a telecom worker.
@@johnmcintyre800 Okay, I'm not sure I believe that unless it's a geological map which will indicate where water should flow between rocks formations & caves if there was any.

I have seen it done, successfully, many times before on farms & rural homes.

It's ancient and it will remain in our 🌍
I tried this many years ago and was staggered that it worked.
Magical we need more of this 💚☺️

Now dowse the ancient stones, they were placed in their positions for a reason!
