Love SotN (as a kid my sibling and I hired it so much from the video rental store that they sold it to us), and seeing so much love and skill for it is awesome. When Swarm made it to Richter in race two, you said he almost did Richter Skip by accident, and that he would've been disqualified if he'd actually done Richter Skip. But on the hypothetical scenario where he did Richter Skip, would you allow it if he went "Oh shit, that was an illegal skip, lemme go back and fight Richter properly", since at that point, Richter Skip would just be time loss, or would he still have been disqualified for doing the skip in the first place?

I love how you've been emphasizing trivial stuff in the title/thumbnail to avoid spoiling anything important. This one's even trollier than usual. They don't "find" the Rune Sword, they don't even get to keep it, and the eventual star of the show is the Heaven Sword, the _actual_ best throwing sword in the game!
I put SotN on my phone and my playthrough was the first time I've ever gotten it to drop. It was the first kill of the little guy. I was super surprised.
Hornet's decision to pick Lycanthrope again after losing easily in game 2 just doesn't make any sense. Great tournament so far, I am really addicted to these races!
I got you fam. They enter the door because it then spawns the elevator at the top instead of having to wait for it to come up to you. Saves a few seconds
After hitting the elevator switch,the elevator takes a long time to come up(also for the elevator door to open)...going into that room and exiting it makes the elevator appear on top(plus the elevator door to open) much faster than waiting for it normally.essentially skipping that whole animation hence a time save.
They both found Alucard Shield in race 1, but only 1 of them used it? Did it require an item only swarm got? I know that it's usually shield rod + Alucard.
Because you can not do multiple Gravity Jumps without access to a dive kick, Wolf and Leap Stone and a thrust swords give access to that allowing you to chain together multiple gravity jumps.
To do a Big Toss Death Skip? No. You need to take over half your health in damage to get Big Tossed, and even with 0 defense, Wargs only do 20 damage, and Warlock Alucard starts with the standard 70-80 HP.

This game is the easiest Castlevania to beat. Once you know how all of Alucard skills work. It is just a too easy Castlevania game. Circle of the Moon may be a shorter game than SOTN. But that game sure plays faster, also the running ability, the game is far harder than SOTN. When you realize enemies have abilities that can get you killed so easily. The Golden Axe Knight of SOTN are a treat. However in Circle of The moon. There are a lot of Knights, green knights, blue knights, golden knights, the list goes on. You'll fin each og them have a bility that can screw you over, losing a lot of health. Since the beginning of the game, when they appear. Than there is lilith and lucifer. Two normal enemies with alot of health. That can give you game over so easy. Circle of the Moon is one of the faster Castlevania games. It is up there with speed and reaction to think fast before enemies attack. The way Super Metroid is. Yes I dare compare Circle of the moon speed with Super Metroid speed to run. Wish Konami made more castlevania with Circle of the Moon engine.

The amount of skill in this tournament is crazy. It's hard to understand the routing decisions but I know it's better than my route would be.
