Convid nail hammer head. Remember having a landowner going Episcopi with me over having a Sea King into a rescue because it was disturbing their horses… some people cannot be placated despite much pleading. Must admit I made it worse when they asked who the heli belonged to and I replied “Liz, you know, older lady, lives in Buck house”
Ah, someone else who's awake 😂 Thanks for defending me to the Karen, if I'd have seen signs prohibiting camping I'd have respected that and camped elsewhere.
@@Glossopwildcamp I sometimes wish I was a sheep, ignorance is bliss...or so they say lol. I lost my career in care because I didn't play ball with the mandate, but at least I'm alive and well.....unlike several people I know of, including 3 who are no longer with us...including a fit health 14 year old. As you say....I've never seen signs up there before, and I would move on somewhere else myself if I did 👍🏻
Nice video Bri, it looked like the two of you had a great time, and also, there were some stunning views from that location. I was a little lost on the Whiskey tasting bit, but that's because I'm an uncultured yob. I'd be like, "Well, it doesn't smell or taste like petrol, it's alright this". 🙂
Hi Steve, thanks once again for commenting 😊 It was a really good camp despite the weather, I was gutted I couldn't get any drone footage as it would have been spectacular I'm sure. Sorry that the whiskey tasting wasn't your thing, it's a risk I'm taking including it to be honest, but it's part of what we enjoy doing when camping. I'll message you on FB to arrange another camp with you. Cheers!
@@Glossopwildcamp Don't get me wrong Bri, I found the Whisky tasting stuff to be interesting. I just wouldn't be able to compete with describing it on the same level as you two can.
Most excellent video as usual. As for the alcohol, I do not drink period, however I found it amazing how you both were able to create an interesting interaction and agree on the experience of taste involving that peat whiskey. Clearly the produces of such, know what they are doing. I did not expect too much drone footage as the wind seemed to be pretty wild. Wild Camping is called 'Wild', quite simply as the weather can be 'Wild' at times, even in the summer!
Thanks Steve, it was a very enjoyable camp and the adverse weather made it really cozy actually. I had the best sleep so far! You're a wise man being t-total, I have pondered it myself but I'd miss the flavourful experiences to be honest!
I've never seen any signs up there, and I've been up there plenty of times. If he'd had a big fire, left rubbish, or had a big party and made a nuisance of himself I'd understand your concerns...but he didn't do any of the above. I've actually carried down other peoples rubbish when I've been up there.
Enjoyed this one mate. I've had peated whisky before. I remember thinking I'm not going to like this but was pleasantly surprised. But dark chocolate in a chilli 🤔 Not sure about that one 😂😂 Oh and thanks for the heads up 😉 I might be having a visit to the area at some point 👍
Convid...you got that right 🤣 nice video...ignore the Karen 😂

Epic wild camp and whisky reviews! Really enjoyed it

Thanks Stuart, it was an experience for sure!

I thought you would enjoy that Don, I suspect we have a similar sense of humor. 😂
It's virtually impossible to find land owners and ask permission, no harm is done, he left no trace, so I don't see what your problem is.
The land owners farm can be seen !!!!
@@heatheretches5872 does it have a big sign on the hill stating that? Why didn't the land owner ask them to leave then?
For some reason the NO Wild Camping signs seem to miraculously dissappear!!
