You have great content. Why stop?
I've been looking for a tutorial about this for days now. Happy to see this.

I appreciate that. I've had some personal health issues that forced me to stop making videos. I hope to return to it down the road. Thank you.

Thank you Solivan. I think we'll all find the new shape tools to be faster than the old ones. Thanks for watching and I'm glad the video was helpful! Even if it happened a little late.

Great Video. Can I place a Photo in the shape and have it move around the screen with the shape?

Thank you. You can yes. After the drop shadow node I showed in the node tree, just place a merge below that, then connect your image to the merge. Add a transform node to your image, place it over the shape, then add one more transform below all of that and that transform node should allow you to move your image with the shape.
If that doesn't work for any reason you could definitely do it with the "original" shape tools in Resolve by masking out shapes in backgrounds. If you have trouble making it work let me know and I'll make a quick video on it.

@@VASAProductions Thanks. I am stuck. I have 3 shapes in motion on my screen, and want to add a photo in each one, but cant figure out how to attach a pic in each shape.

@@bigbadbob143 If you're using the new shape tools create a node tree for each image with your shape etc, then use 1 transform if possible to move each image with each shape if that makes sense. If you're still having trouble with it respond and I'll make a video on how to do what you're trying to do.
