      @williamethegod5013 Well idk if most people don't see it, but like I said in the video, NAZ Reid. Big, great handle, length, dangerous shooter, young, crazy athletic, etc. His per 36 minutes stats are amazing. If Minnesota hypothetically traded Kat (or even Naz) I could see Naz taking a MASSIVE leap forward with starters minutes, similar to how James Harden did after he left OKC. You??

    As a C’s fan, I just realized Wemby actually helped the Celtics win a championship.
    In the 2nd-to-last game of the season, Wemby single-handedly carried the Spurs to a win over the Nuggets. This led to the Nuggets being knocked down to the 2nd seed and entering the playoff bracket with the Timbwerwolves. The Twolves were quite literally designed to beat the Nuggets, and that’s exactly what happened. The Nuggets match up well against the Celtics, and if they made the Finals, they probably would have repeated.

    • @isiahalcindor6278
      @isiahalcindor6278 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      I disagree I think it goes seven but the nuggets don't have the weapons and after seeing Murray get clamped by a similar defense I don't think they repeat but we'll see next year

    Tbh I also was so much wrong...
    At first I thought that Denver will win again.
    Then Minnesota. After they beat Denver.
    After that Dallas... Cause they defeated Minnesota.
    And I never thought that Celtics will win championship this year.
    DPOY - I also thought about Wemby.
    Clutch player? - didn't thought about it at all.
    Coach? - Tom Thibodeau
    NBA regular season MVP - Nikola Jokić
    Finals MVP - Didn't type anyone
    MIP - SGA, of course missed
    6th man? - didn't type
    ROTY - Victor Wembenyama.
    That's all. Greetings from Poland

    I learned a long time ago if I want to be wrong about something in the NBA, I should make a prediction about it, so 3/8 is still pretty impressive. And in your defense, Luka was robbed, and that would have given you 50% correct.

    3 out of 8 is impressive. I thought Luka Doncic deserved MVP. You can't just give an award because you screwed up the year before. Jokic may have a better PER but Doncic is the best NBA player along with SGA. I don't like any big. I would never give Shaq an MVP over Kobe. Or a power forward/ strong guy like Lebron over Jordan or Dr. J. For me, the eye test says it most. And for me, I want most to watch Luka and SGA. Jokic bores me to tears.

    • @D22_T
      @D22_T 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +25

      Jokic had the highest PER, that’s mainly how they’ve been determining the MVP as of recent. (along with team success of course) Last year was an exception. (voter fatigue) and because Jokic had the highest PER + 2nd seed in the west, he won it. Deservingly. Luka was 4th in PER and mavs were the 5th seed so it’s not surprising he didn’t win. If anything I think SGA deserved it more than Luka. He averaged more steals & blocks, way less turnovers and 30 ppg. Oh and lead his team to the #1 seed in the west without a superstar teammate.

      @@D22_T SGA should have won it, period imo. Had a higher seed, with less talent and expirence around him. Not saying Jokic does not have a very legitimate case, but to win it by that much over Shai? That was because of regret/bitterness from last year. You can't argue otherwise.
      Which is a terrible reason to award someone the MVP. Shame on the media and the NBA.

      I'm not gonna be one of those people who hates on you for incorrect predictions because everybody has some horrible ones even if they act high and mighty and pretentious. LaMelo has improved every season, this season, he was actually getting hot and going off for a short period of time. Then he got injured, yet again, and by the end of the season, his overall averages make it seem like he didn't improve. However, look at his numbers before his first injury... it's honestly not that bad of a prediction and I could see why you thought that. For people that actually pay attention to the Hornets, it seems like he's ready to take off and become a superstar and then it just gets ruined by injuries. He dropped 36 against the Celtics in a win and I was like oh shi... LaMelo is here. Then he got injured a few games later. So I can't fault you for that. As for the Heat making the Finals again, it looks like a bad prediction now, but I think it's crazy that people still slept on Playoff Jimmy for the entire season despite what he did last season. I personally don't feel bad about any picks I make if injuries are essentially what ruin them. Jimmy was out in the first round so there went any hope they had of doing that again, right? So yeah. I don't fault you for either of those predictions. Maybe you could say well LaMelo is injury prone so why would you think he'd be healthy? Well, AD is also injury prone and we saw him have a healthy season. It's impossible to predict these things and injuries can happen to anyone.

    I get all the other stuff the Celts do better than LA but "building a team organically" doesn't necessarily serve as a talking point for a better-run franchise. Celts "build organically" for the same reason that most teams do; they aren't considered a destination franchise. At the same time, they've made trades, FA pickups, and signed buyout players too and that's how they got Porzingis, Horford, Derrick White and Jrue Holiday. Again, I can understand all the other stuff they do but the notion that "building a team organically" is THE better way to create a winning franchise is nonsense. Get players and grow your team however you can.

    you have been wrong a lot, especially when you think modern players are better than the players from the past. they are more "skilled", ie. they have more moves because the rules allow them to innovate, but doesn't mean they are actually more skilled, because they play in a no hand check, no defense, not physical soft league and 1 touch you go to the line. so their stats are inflated to the moon, thats why so many "superstars" fail and absolutely melt down in the playoffs when the intensity only picks up slightly. every night nba is like a shoot around and teams take turn to go at the basket, 2000s to early 2010s basketball were the last real basketball. thats why we see american basketball players fall off a cliff while foreign players especially european are having a great time in the nba, because it is so easy for them.

    I got MVP, ROY, MIO, and 6thMOY, right, and I'm happy with it. I was wrong about Bam being DPOY and never bothered myself enough to pick COY and EOY, and I didn't even know the CPOY award even existed 😀

    Bold predictions for 2025.
    MVP & DPOY = Wemby
    6th man = Lebron
    Coach = JJ Redick
    Rookie = Bronny
    Clutch = Lebron
    MIP = Klay Thompson
    You can’t get crazier than that.

      You don't actually believe any of this, do you? 🤣 I mean I 100% genuinely think the most likely of these happening is Wemby MVP and DPOY, that's how crazy the other picks are. Wemby is definitely capable of winning MVP and DPOY in the same season, but 2nd season seems like it's too soon. I think he very well may win DPOY though, and I might even pick him to win it.

  • @chillinhomeboys
    @chillinhomeboys 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Dont understand how gobert won DPOY when the defensive rating on/off difference for gobert is -4.1 points while wemby is at -12 yet gobert is the better defender? Spurs are 3x worse without wemby than the timberwolves are without gobert…

    • @OliverGuiterman
      @OliverGuiterman 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe that wemby should have been the DPOY but playing the devils advocate that's because the timberwolves have a very good defense already, and the spurs suck. So that doesn't show how Gobert is impacting an already good defense, if that makes any sense.

    ROY - easy one
    DPOY - easy one
    EXECUTIVE of THE YEAR -easy one
    I also Got the NBA CHAMPIONS correct after JRUE and KP join them made a lot of money on that as well...
