Ohhhh you have to kill those weird steampunk tree things to catch little girls? I thought the capture balls meant ANY little girl, like, just go to the nearest town, find an NPC with little girl in their name and kidnap them. I was wondering why those things never worked!
@@MisterZimbabwe so I think the vendor at the little garden sells specific little girl balls. But confusingly there's also the generic poke balls that you can use for monsters. But yeah I was like you. I thought I could just got grab one from town and bring her back 🤣
Technically speaking what you need to capture are "younger sisters" or "imouto", they are recognizable because they have a distinct sprite foe easy recognition, are mutant tourists and are basically a bioshock reference, in lore they are very mistreated experimented on by scientists and hunted by people to eat in elona, strapped in bombs in the promotional defense shooter flash game, in elona there's a person in cyberdome that gives the same mission as little garden
Elona is full of references to whatever Noa and the fan-translators liked at the time. There are all kinds of references to TV ("Hard Gay" now known as "Hot Guy" both in Elin and IRL), games [Bioshock, Rogue, ADOM, Guild Wars], anime [Claymore, Akira], etc. you can expect all kinds of weird stuff to carry over to Elin.
As food, the stats on that aren't very good (just +4 strength). For a comparison without much investment, if you do fishing and have the cooking skill, then get Gourmet feat up to 2, you have plenty of good cooked fish as a base, with added bonito flake seasoning (e.g. turtle or tilefish flakes), for the whole party.
Dude, I want to upgrade my cooler but I can't follow this video, lol. I have Gen X attention, please slow down and tell me where "Miwuls" is and how you get the upgrades. I tried going back to that exact clip that showed his name but it blipped in and out at warp speed. Can't follow! 😂

Cooler saving corpses or cooked food with the new perk between multiple nefia feels good man. Getting too used to dropping the tent down and one day you will forget it, leaving everything to the Void.

@@Rumplenutskn yeah I thought I finally had a reason to go to that orphanage between the starting base and the main town to the east 😂

It feels so weird to see a random Bioshock reference in the game. Was the series even popular in Japan?
Pretty sure it was a request from a backer...kinda cringe tbh even tho I love Bioshock
it was there on elona so at this point it would be weird if it wasn't there.
tourist spotted, big daddies were in elona too
@@Bronimin I was just going based off something i read on the discord. Also "tourist" is how I know you are a40 yrs old gatekeeper

Why bother carrying a cooler when you can bring your fridge or even better your whole base inside your tent with you? paper hammer ftw
