Subscribed! My buddy and I usually head up to Saginaw bay this time of year to chase after some walleye. Unfortunately I don think Mother Nature is going to allow that to happen this year. We are thinking of heading to the Gaylord area but have no clue where to start. Think you could maybe point use in somewhat of a direction?
Nice video...can't beat a day like that for fishing....u guys ever icefish Fife lake or Portage Lake near manistee? Anyway great video.....Crazy Wolf...out
They are awesome. Got them this year. If you live around the Traverse City area, square, deal country store carries them. They are Kinco hydro flector #1786p awesome gloves, completely waterproof, and have a very nice warm liner. Typically, I don’t wear gloves because it reduces sensitivity, but they are tight forming enough to where I can stand it.
Haha funny enough it is a frostbite smoke show I broke the tip off of last year. I fish allot of frostbite rods I feel they are good quality for the price point.
Awesome video! Underrated technique with just a jig head and a minnow threaded on. What size jig head do you normally run? I'm going to have to give that a try this year.
Nice work guys! Great to see the first fish of the year through the ice. 👊👊
Just getting some skim ice in Kent County, we won't be too far behind you guys. Great video and start to the new season!

Great job gents!!!
what lake were you on? thanks..
We keep lake names as a rule on the down low to keep any one lake from getting too much attention. Thanks for watching and commenting!

What part of northern michigan! North? North North? Or way up North. I live way up North, we have some cold weather this week.

Using like 3” minnows…maybe I need to downsize lol. What were you running on your tip ups?
3-6 inch pike suckers
What does the 45th mean
We fish right around the 45th parallel most of the time.
It's the 45th parallel between the Equator & the North Pole.
In lamens terms your standing in the middle of the Earth 45th parallel.
Nice work I live in northern mi and we have no ice around Petoskey area where u at?
