Imagine watching this years later to see that your grandmother called you funny looking. I would not trust that lady with my baby.
And she’s old enough to see it now. Just sad.
She got a Nerve calling the baby funny looking because she is the one that’s funny looking if you ask me, the mother of the child is a nice girl because I would have cussed that dog out 2 ways from Sunday saying that about my baby 🤬🤬 just pisses me off

I hope the mom isn't really that dumb because she has a mom who is their for the baby. That Grandmother acted terrible, immature and bitter. She should be happy she has a piece of her son alive to cherish and love on. What a blessing! She probably was a horrible mother. My advice to the young girl is to keep stepping and see if she reaches out! I think Ms Paige was worried about having to give her some of the insurance money, that’s the real issue! (So sad)

If his mother is the beneficiary on the policy, and she paid for it…she won’t have to give up any of that money. She can claim SS benefits, though.
I mean rationally, if you're in her position, would you easily share the money to anyone Unconfirmed?? It's so dumb.. DNA testing is important to avoid more and more dangerous lies. It is just Caring, or just a little Money. Imagine if No-Related, unknown until the kids become older. There will be so many problems waiting on list. You basically just need to research & educate yourself about this. I'm not defending anyone but we have to think rationally because it's related with legal rules of law. You cannot just take & throw anything anyone. You don't have to be a diploma to understand this. You can use just a heart & "oh poor baby". When it's confirmed positive, the kids have the right to get the money. But when it's negative, there'll be no obligation at all and reasons to justify any cash to be given.
This young lady is bitter, and she has every right to be. I wouldn't let that woman anywhere near my child.

I'm usually not the type to say this but the young lady in the first case needs to keep her daugter away from her dad's side of the family. He was a grown man messing with a 16 years old 😒, killed while trying to rob someone, and the grandma is just evil. I hope she has a great stepfather in her life that's better than that ❤

My heart ache for the last episode I felt so bad for her she went into foster care for 5years he's her father shame on him he failed her since day 1 salute to her aunt for being supportive
He tried to find out by requesting blood tests and was always denied. He didn’t even know he had a kid until he was pulled over by the cops. She didn’t have his last name until later in life. I can understand his doubts and frustration. Although he didn’t want her to be his child, when it was confirmed, he changed his mind and accepted her.

2nd girl needs to keep minimal contact with the father and grandmother. They are disgusting.

That last case was tough. He was rubbing it in her face that she had gotten in trouble when it was his fault she grew up in such difficult circumstances. Right up until the results were read he was telling her she was not good enough to have his name. There are ways to get a paternity test and he should have gotten it done years ago and the first time she was taken from her mother, he should have been right there to give her a stable home. It was all Celest could do to hold back her tears.

In the second case, seemed liked to me that he was a Momma's boy and his Momma Tracy was jealous of a young girl. She didn't want her with her son and she was jealous of the young girls relationship with her ex as well. That boy needs to grow up and grow a pair and stop letting his momma lead him around by her apron strings.
I feel for the woman in the second case. You can tell the mother and son are con artist types who twist everything to make it out as something else. You can harass someone and still not call to ask about the child. The two are not mutually exclusive. Using the same bed at different times is not unseemly. The poor Grandpa was even put in the middle of all these accusations and lies. All that attention seeking clapping and foolish behavior from them was gross. Judge Lake was way off on that one.

The child is eligible for social security benefits from her father. Grandma does not have to share with the grandchild. The grandmother also has no rights to see the child unless the mother is willing.

The young lady living in Indiana seems like she has a very good head on her shoulder. She also stays calm and collected through this all.
First of all the insurance will go to the beneficiary of the policy. No one can come in and claim money without their name being on the policy
As someone in insurance, THAT PART. Kids or not, if theyre not listed, theyre not entitled to any money.
Well I'm assuming nobody was on the life insurance of so ot goes to his kid/kids

If no kids or partners are named as beneficiaries, nothing would go to any.
The mother would have blown 50K in a few hours.
Plus his obit lists about 8 siblings all with different surnames. None of them would get anything either unless the mother who took out the policy named them as beneficiaries but it says she certainly got around.
Although I'm surprised an Insurance Company would even pay out as he was killed committing a violent crime. You'd think there'd be Clauses to that effect.

Regarding that first case, the deceased father’s mother is disgraceful and hateful. I wouldn’t let her within an inch of that precious child. She wasn’t grieving the loss of her son as much as she was grieving the possible loss of ALL his life insurance money. How she could stand there and treat this young woman so horribly while leaving her son blameless is ridiculous. I applaud the young woman’s mother for fiercely sticking up for her daughter. The paternal grandmother is not a good person at all.

The grandmother is not obligated to give her any money. I don’t know why she brought the money up. I don’t know why the judge called them both bitter. The truth is is that the young lady was just trying to be heard. Ms Paige owes her an apology. Now if she gets it is another story. This is very sad. She knew her son was going around sleeping all over town instead of doing something productive. She raised him and obviously she didn’t teach him about respect of women or his home. The first case was just sad. As I am sorry for her loss, Ms. Paige is not a believer in Christ. She is burdened with how she raised her own son. He was 20 and robbing people and sleeping with a child so he wasn’t raised right and had no moral’s because of who and how his mother is. As parents we have the responsibility to make sure our children develop into good people and clearly his mother isn’t one. That young girl need to just go on with her life. God removed them for a reason child.

(First case, ms Paige) I think bitter is an understatement and it’s more like rage and hatefulness and ignorance. What an awful human. She did an awful job raising her son and is in denial that he was sleeping around unprotected with underage girls in high school and out robbing people. I pray she heals and changes and gets intensive, psychological help for the rest of her family.

First case - Ms Paige had harboured so much hate towards the baby and her mum for so long that she was not even ready to consider the possibility of her being her son's baby. i was not surprised she answered Judge Lake the way she did when asked if she would be willing to accept the child if the results were true. she needs to expunge the bitterness from her heart. she is being blinded by it.
These mothers need to understand that their sons are not gonna tell them everything in terms of who they’re with and what they’re doing.
All the paternal parties were so hateful. This is so sad. I hope the plaintiffs are okay and have gone on to be successful in their lives. I am also hoping the built the bridges are are now getting along.
The dad in the Haystack case, the guy is a scumbag. He says she'd be a bad influence on his other kids, but he didn't take any action to raise and lead her into a better direction while she was young. He's mad cause HE got caught having had an affair and has displaced his anger onto the ONLY person NOT at fault in that mess. You KNOW he didn't ask to have her from foster care.

I just gotta say this. I find Paternity Court addictive. Come to find out that my daughter and sis does too. Some are entertaining, some make me cry and some are truly cringe worthy. But every episode has a message. Carry on Judge Lakes. Bravo.

If i were the girl in the third case I'd be grateful i had such a wonderful Auntie and i would deny this horrific 'father' any access to my life. If her sister is an example of how he raised his children, this young lady may just be the luckiest of them all!
The second case - the young lady said the guys dad only used her bed when she was at work. If there wasn’t an other bed then people sometimes do that. Everybody is not rich like the judge.
