How long do you think a pioneer mvh-s21bt lasts for? That’s what I have been using and it has been working PERFECT for a year now and just yesterday I clicked it in and nothing happened. Didn’t turn on or anything.

My professional mechanic friend said to disconnect battery for ten minutes . Radio is lighting up but volume isn’t working and the station dial isn’t either . No matter what I do , it’s not changing channels

You have the same year make and model (or very close to it) that I do. Looks almost like the same head unit. If my head unit is completely shot would you reccomend what head unit would work with our vehicle that has the jack ports for front, rear, and then a subwoofer/speakers? (I think they call that six channels total) I noticed that a lot of stereos are too long to fit in...I've barely got my kenwood Excellon X3 to fit, and I did that by "cramming" it in there.

I have an xdm-260 my parents let me use in my jeep im trying to sell barely used it and all my fuses are good in my vehicle I didnt see a fuse on my radio do all radios have a fuse also could it be my harness the one I connect to my car positive and the yellow and red weren't getting power with my test light and the ground im assuming doesn't get power and the harness that plugs into my car stereo has power so maybe the radio is fried? Cuz I tried a bebxh test with my harness that has power in the yellow and red wire not the black wire still dignt power up
What if fuses are good and power still isnt making it to the radio harness

I replaced the original '92 Honda Accord radio w/aftermarket.
Hmm sorry for the late response. Radio turns on no sound and you replaced it. It seems like that happened when I finally replaced this one I think it was a power issue I had the constant power wire in the wrong spot

Nice bro ! Hey I have pioneer deh-2290ub in my car, whenever i play songs using USB then songs are playing in a sequence even though the "RANDOM" option is set to "ON". It is not working as how the shuffle work in phones. Also, tt still play the same sequence even if i set the RANDOM to "OFF". Example i have songs list A,B,C,D,E and the song plays in the sequence of "C,E,D,A,B" and this is sequence it plays all the time... How to overcome this, please let me know if you have any idea ?
thats an interesting problem. is there anyway you could shuffle it from the USB device instead of the radio or are you using some sort of flash drive.

Could be a short somewhere could be the battery. If you've checked everything with the car it's likely the stereo itself
I have a same stereo as your mi amp.capaciter shorted out and mi radio voice went dead and now just turning of and on repeatedly checked everything what you think could be the issue

Okay so I was being lazy to and the red wire touched the case and sparked now it won’t work lmao is my radio busted now sorry for dumb question
same shit for me except yellow wire haha, I checked all my fuses and their fine along with re-soldering all my cables so it doesnt happen again but radio seems fried
yeaaaah prolly fried it thats what i did too. sends electricity where electricity isnt supposed to be

More or Less It okay so I ended up finding a burnt out fuse and it was for my radio thankfully a 20amp fuse saved me 200$ instead of buying a new headunit thankfully

could be a number of things, could be your car battery, the power wire, loose wire, or the unit could just be getting ready to die.
Well the problem is pretty easy to see, what you have there is a shitty walmart special radio with obtuse controls and zero visability. Simply throw the whole thing away and try again.
My boss radio won't work unless I disconnect and reconnect the battery then it powers up.
Sounds to me like the connection is just bad and when you disconnect and reconnect it it cleans the contacts a little. Are the contacts clean and all that? Could be a sign the battery is getting low too
