  • We were lucky enough to be brought to Huawei's research and development campus in Dongguan, China. It's seriously impressive. They have styled the city around 12-14 European cities and the whole place feels like you're in a set straight out of Harry Potter!

How long do you work one day, dude? We Chinese students do not like Huawei when considering our first job, because working in this company is too laborious, though the campus is beautiful in this video. In Huawei, you have to work more than 12 hours per day, if you are an engineer. Only students from poor families would choose to work for it, because it does pay more for this hard workload. This is Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei's answer to that why the Dongguan base is designed in European style:
The architectural design of the Dongguan base was selected through bidding by many famous construction companies in the world, and it was designed by a Japanese company. The chief designer wanted to build an architectural museum with world classic buildings, so he designed a European town. This design was chosen mainly because everyone thought it was beautiful、

Months ago I saw a report on this amazing Huawei R&D campus.
It seems like Huawei treats its genius-level IT engineers like European kings...
The company gives employees Bentleys, Mercedes, Porsches, Rolls Royces, and some other "cheap" cars to drive, lol...
From what I recall Mr. Ren Zhengfei saying 70% of the company is owned by its employees!

This is how ccp does, if they want to do something, they will unite everything, everyone and all resource to finish that work, does not matter how hard and tough, has to be successful. In some bett democracy country, that would not happen as the process of agreeing takes so long, might end up abolition or delay forever . Has to make everyone happy 😊 but it is not possible

Western standardization + communist shared philosophy = future corporate competition model. The premise is to control capital, which is why Huawei is not listed.Jobs' biggest concern is that the influence of the sales organization exceeds that of the innovation organization. Unfortunately, Apple was kidnapped by capital, which is the last fate of many American companies. I hope Huawei can surpass this fate, and all revenue belongs to employees.

Employee ownership is quite common in big Chinese enterprises. To avoid spending more and more money on welfares like full pension, full medical insurance and so on, employees are given some share of the company which appreciates as company's net worth grows.

It's not working in Europe. I can't believe someone who works in Europe would work for more than 12 hours per day. This video is a lie to some degree, too. He didn't talk about the over-working in HW... People work more time per day than legal provisions. Someone even works more than 996 (9 am. to 9pm. / 6 days out of 7 days in a week).
