- After a fantastic time in Fenghuang ancient city, the gents and I headed out for another adventure to go walk across one of the coolest (and scariest) bridges I have every walked across! The Zhangjiajie Glass bridge in Hunan. The journey took an unexpected turn of events and I saw part of my life flash before my eyes. Come along with us as we travel to our next destination. Dude, my back hurt for a few hours after that but everyone was all good (that I know).
The zip line would’ve been sweet, but I think that would’ve taken an extra 2-3 hours to get across and come back to our starting point.

I honestly didn’t know how to pronounce it well and I don’t think I got it right the whole trip…so I had to share my struggle. 😅
I should’ve taken the time to actually look up how to pronounce it but I was quite lazy. Thank goodness for video editing! 😁

Zhang is a common Family name, Jia means Family but I think House is more appropriate here, Jie means territory here. So ZhangJiaJie can be translate as Rule under the House Of Zhang😂 forgive me as I am watching the Games of thrones 😂 Btw, on Chinese video platform Bilibili, your video was reposted there and got quite a few good comments from the Chinese audience. Not sure whether you are aware of that. Enjoy the trip and do pop into hospital when you free wrong. We don’t have GP here in China so no appointment is needed when you need to see a doctor
